I pick mergen at R8 with your build.
It is still doing great at WB, but depends on how much HP the boss have and how agile the boss is. Double flare+rain arrow is a great burst opening, but when i try to make the second capture combo, it hindering my DPS, for example:
-before boss fight, capture 1st flare+rain
-at opening boss fight, release captured skill+2nd flare+rain (burst)
-when capture CD is gone, capture 3rd flare+rain which could be used normally before 4th flare+rain instead (maybe if i timing it right, use capture before 3rd flare+rain end then my 2nd double flare+rain wont hindering my dps…)
sometimes i release double flare+rain and 1 second later the boss (like ella) move away from that place, which is a big waste of DPS
sneakhit5 has 10 second downtime.
survivability issue against magic enemies and bosses (because of feint+barrage’s melee range)
my highest split arrow dmg against flying mob is 55k (without fulldraw). feint+barrage dmg is 14k x30. R8map monster has 100+k HP, so i use feint+barrage more frequently than split arrow at r8 maps.
Edit: Still, your build is the best scout3 variant in term of DPS and all-in-one package build, not just a mere stereotyped farming toon.
There was a time, maybe 8 weeks since R8 patch, where any rogue can capture safety zone and released it to be a portable infinite safety zone bug. Those were our finest hours.
