HIGHLANDER

Interesting, but I prefer the current one.

That Swordie 3 attribute is way too powerful. You’d have to buff Corsair’s Dual Weapon Assault to make that remotely functional, and still I’d say no because dual Trinity Swords is a beast not meant for this world or the next.


Cross Guard seems fine as-is to me; it's meant to be a survivability buff not a damage buff. The boon to Pierce damage is actually one of many interop buffs Swordies have. The Highlander might not benefit, but anyone with a spear, rapier, or Corsair 2 will love you. I'd say leave as is, though the only argument against the crit res redux change would be that it'd benefit archers more than swordies.

If Cleave can get OH 3 and slashweak on top of crit and doubling on stunned targets, I see no reason Moulinet can’t be OH 2 by default- not even attributed.

Skull Swing, leave it as is. You want duration of 5 seconds so you can actually chain a couple of things off the armor break. 2.5s is way too short- you MIGHT get one hit in before it runs out.


Syncro Thrusting's primary issue is really just the animation speed. A blunt cvt is a blunt cvt, I'd say just clean up the animation rather than letting it be daggered. Sure, Spearsairs would like it, but even then, it wouldn't beat Pierce for usability since the animation is shorter and dagger syncro would be pierce rather than blunt (the only redeeming thing about syncro is the type conversion).

I like the new skullaw swing, it’s far superior. With 20 seconds cd, you can have 100% uptime on your armor break. Currently level5 skull swing will have 10 sec downtime. This is also better if you miss your skull swing, you only wait 20 secs to try again as opposed to 40.
