Ideas for Monk improvement!

I was thinking… depending on the new melstis, and the new way it works, would be possible to golden bell, with l5 sec CD be the “new” Ausrini? It’s more easy to all the members get the one sec buff that the skill gives. FPS won’t help but who knows.

Again, idk how melstis will be aplyed, if it’ll be like Daino or if it’ll activate a area like it does now days. Against a Ausrini, that will go to maximun 44sec? duration, a 20~22 sec invulnerability without cd (golden bell has l5) might work.

The problem is the Melstis’s CD. If they don’t change it… there is no all time invulnerabulity in the game anymore. Unless you have a druid c3.

Anyways this is just an ideia : P

its a hidden interaction between Deprotected Zone + Hand Knife, it becomes a linear aoe when you do them together :slight_smile:

the only duration melstis increases with GBS is the remaining 0.5sec after channeling, so if you GBS+melstis it becomes 1second of extra immunity after channeling. lol.

The guy who posted a video of the new melstis took it down(idk why) but basically it just doubles the duration of the buff, no more channeling required

I get that, what i don’t get is WHY, and does DepZone has any other syngergy from the cleric or other tree class?
It would be cool if hand knife worked like that normally but on charge

Hidden mechanic like Feint+Barrage combo. It’s not worth it with the current Hand Knife damage.

lol, it increases buff duration by 20%/level, so at level5 it would increase it by 100%

add attribute to double punch. *increase movement speed +10 every time you double punch, last 1second

I’ve watched the two dp str vs dex atk.speed videos and I couldn’t tell the difference. It doesn’t look like dex increases dp atk.speed. Even if it does, ping related issues could potentially hinder dp high atk.speed performance due to the skill having no cooldown.

Energy Blast needs a jump cancel.
Double punch needs an expanded hitbox to match or outrange that of your auto attack.
One Inch Punch is a level 2 debuff
Hand knife and deprotected zone interaction is consolidated no longer requiring the target suffer from the deprotected zone debuff
Golden Bell Shield functions as a brief channel, after the monk gets invuln for 2x the duration they channeled for. Also cannot be effected by debuffs during this time
Palm Strike knockback distance decreased for better combo potential

Energy Blast does has a jump cancel…Just jump and let go and the Energy Blast will be cancel.

I think he means after you release the skill. Like, while dealing damage, If you jump, the skill itself Will be canceled, not the cast.

Both. Right now with both mobs and players having access to pain barrier, the risk reward factor is way off. Since if you miss you’re potentially trapped with a long channel rather helpless. Being able to jump out of the charge as well as the cast would give us a lot of options or make being punished for missing a skill a lot less brutal.

Is for balance low ping users and high ping users, don’t matter your internet speed you can only do 5 DP in every 10 seconds and i think is fair, not everybody have Korean connections.

Internet connection speed and ping aren’t a valid reason to use when balancing an MMO.

If the skill is way stronger than what we have now, I’ll accept it but for now I’ll continue to whine.

No they’ve removed 0 CD skills from the game.
Which means a couple of things

  1. People will have to use their Auto Attacks as Filler in more builds
  2. This means a lower rank 0 CD skill isn’t exactly “replaced” by a higher rank 0 CD skill. For instance Oblique Shot getting replaced by Split Shot if your a scout C3.
