I'd like to Advocate for Full Strength Wugus In New content

I’m an Archer3/wugu2/scout1/Musket2 and WOW, I’m surprised how well I can do the content seeing as that everyone usually says ermagerd, strength is bad when you need to dex. Well, I have 50 con and the rest in strength and I don’t even have crit rate gear and i’m able to solo the content.

90% of my kills are from full drawing two mobs together and poisoning them(then proceeding to use whatever other abilities I need to use to finish them off).

You’d be surprised how quickly certain things fall, baring Being poison resistant. What gets really crazy is when you full draw 2 flying mobs together and poison them since your poisons will deal double damage due to using a two handed bow :stuck_out_tongue:

Ontop of that, being scout gives me the edge of being able to cheese a lot of the content.

Full draw also makes a lot of skills do huge multipliers on the mob its attached to so when you snipe something you basically auto his cap, and it also works with basically every other skill thats not a DOT.

The reason why i’m pure strength mostly is because I can make wugus damage even bigger since it acts like my “running shot” auto attacks. cause lets be real, if you can get out 16k per tick on two full drawn mobs with a 170 bow, while leaveing the rest of your time open to use skills, you honestly won’t lose too much damage to QS3 builds.

This is not to say I wont have a lot of crit rate end game through equips (i’m planning for like 400-500 which would probably give me 50% rate on most mobs which is plenty to actually make my other skills much more obnoxious and take advantage of my actually pretty high crit attack.

That upon when full draw not bug = =. A problem is my full draw got bug a lot. monster pull back but not link. monster got pull back in strange way. monster not knockback.

Well, thats why I have scout skills to make up for messing up xD If i botch my full draw, I just stealth until it comes back up again.

Anything that allows you to hide basically makes the content easy.

Well scout cheeses the game regardless, but what makes the content easy killing wise is full draw and wugu poison

Don’t think you’ve seen a full draw with snatching and wugu poison.

Haha, well thats your build lol. I like the fact I also can use musket skills for bossing and pvp

scout1

well… Id like your try waltzing in the said new content again without that scout circle.

But, no one would do that unless SR3

are you using viper? 16k a tick is really big for a wugu2

EDIT : won’t you be getting more damage by going full dex with archer2 and musket2? instead of poison damage from str? I mean weapons already have high attack and poison scales with main weapon physical attack right?

Wugu poison scales with elemental property damage and physical attack. The more physical attack you have, the more your poison does.

And honestly. Probably not. 600 more physical attack for my wugu skills makes a huge difference when you naturally do so much more with wugu skills over time than with just straight musket burst. If i transfered over to full dex, I’d crit my musket skills more often, but i’d probably fail at pvp against full con builds and i’d probably have a useless 2 circles of wugu that lost a bulk of their damage. Why not add more to all skills then some damage to a few skills.

Just for a better way to look at it. My builds a multi hit build. Multi hits scale better off of strength. if you can get crit then thats a plus, but being able to have more physical dps is the best you can do. In the musketeer forum we did a math thing where full strength vs full dex were full dex was barely better but like 20% whereas that 20% probably gets made up through the wugushi skills anyways.

In pvp wugu can easily be countered with antidote, is it worth getting c3 for my wugu? currently at qs3wugu2 still planning on my r7 and r8 so I haven’t played much with my archer. Can you give me some suggestions? I’m on pure str and 50 con, 70 dex, my initial thoughts is wugu3 > mergen or wugu3 hacka

Personally, I think wugu3 is not to useful. The jincan requires killing monsters fire and by that time, you’re already probably done killing the group. All the other skills onyl get about 20% better in the grand scheme of things. Wugu2 is mandatory since you need that gu pot.

And yes I know that antidote is countered by antidote. Which is why I’m a Musket2. Wugu2 and for PVE and cheesing pvp matches where they don’t have PD or don’t use antidote quick enough.

I’d rather you go wugu2/falcon1/mergen

Also 16k a tick is not on a single poison. its over 4 poisons on flying mobs.

My archer is 3str:1dex, but isnt in rank 8 content yet. Im glad you say alot of str is working well, it gives me hope mine will too

If you mainly like wugu out of your build and full str, i think i wouldnt have picked musket, id do something like…

a2>ranger>wugu2>scout>rogue>mergen

or

a3>wugu2>scout>falcon>mergen

Just seems like out of the things you said you like out of your build, musket wasnt one of them lol. Musket does better with alot of crit also.

On my little time of exploration of the new maps… There is a lot of earth element mobs.

which means…what?

50% of the new content is mostly earth element. The whole of TSC for example is mostly earth lol.

Poison does 50% more damage to earth element mobs.

@unicorntheshiny

Yeah I saw those, and I was like “this is wugu heaven”
