It is meant to be a tough endgame goal to get a full velcoffer set ichored and set bonused. Fact remains you don’t need the gear to do the content, so you can be patient with it.

Because you’re in it for the long haul. Remember, Velcoffer is supposed to be better than gear that doesn’t even exist yet.
At this point, it might be a hint that they plan on merging achievements into account based instead of char based. The game isn’t even 5 years old…

Why do people even support these kind of shitty layers of RNG? It’s not good for any games, like lootboxes.
The same reason people still support Angry Pumpkin Baby President: They bought in early and don’t have the mental flexibility or the strength of character to admit to themselves that this crap sucks.
There isn’t even a tangible reason to bother with it outside of the casual weekend-warrior level. A velcoffer with bad green stats is a fine item with a reasonable budget. The ultimate ichor Velcoffer is a massive waste of money, and the people who are pretending their Velcoffer isn’t going to get replaced with a Primus in a year are out of their minds, and absolutely will ragequit when that day comes.
I keep saying it: This game is engineered to torture min-maxers. It’s almost spiteful, like IMC wants to hurt them, specifically.

Since the begining, i’ve broke 4 weapons to get ichor for my weapon. i’ve just give up. Purely crap system. day farm for nothing.

Hell I would have just enchanted and transcended that bow and used it instead… wouldn’t have risked these almost perfect stats on ichoring.
When I look at the last 20 primuses I found and all are one-line blue/purple garbage…
I just hope that with r10 we’ll get an overhaul of this stupid system. Maybe if enough players complain…
Stop trying for the ultimate weapon. There is no such thing. You fell for the min-maxer trap. Everything goes away in TOS. Break cheap primuses until you get something decent, fine.

I will. I did before. Was gone for at least a year. Wasn’t the only reason I quit, but it was definitely the biggest one.
If the enforcement stops, I’ll probably quit again. But there are far less now, no? At least on Klaipeda. While they still exist, the difference is night and day.

This is why I am just collecting Velcoffer gear slowly and not worrying about ichoring until they make the RNG a tad more forgiving.
5% is ridiculous on top of having to upgrade / transcend / add set bonuses
Take your time and when you’ll ichor with possible rework and less cost the 380 items you can laugh at these peasants predicting 380 primus without sets will outperform 360 full set + 380 ichors to come.
Well but than there is no point in gaming now because no real progression possible.
And yeah i destroyed this bow i have 2 more 4 stat ones rolled but thats just to annoying especially my 4 stat primus equip is even worse to replace compared to bows.
edit: Although the equip is still usable with 0 pot while weapons are just gone effort
Why does Ichor extraction make the item lose potential in the first place…
Really IMC, just make every attempt cost significant amounts of silver (scales based on rarity ofc) and you have yourself a primo silver sink option
