Velcoffer cubes don’t even guarantee velcoffer-related loot. You can get lvl 330 raid portal stones instead of an essence or accessory. 
Whale bait or not, this is incredibly excessive. X_x
After you successfully get an ichor, it costs 720 more sierra and 180 blessed shards to put it on the gear.
this is like my 5th item became 0 pot… i think i will stop until they increase the rate of this evil thing…

You guys are silly. Just use solmiki gear, then?
Velcoffer gear having split progression for stats, makes it -really- good if you think about it.
Now, you don’t have to worry about enhancing to whatever level on a really good stat weapon, then crying when you f’ it up and get a +4 0 pot primus with 48 str 48 con 48 dex or some jazz.
You can now enhance your velcoffer item, and toss it if you end up with a crap enhancement. Time wasting? Yes. Saves you effort? HUGE yes.
Split your upgrading into separate parts.
- Enhance velcoffer item to +11/+16/+21/+40 what have you
- Extract Ichor separately and add it to a successfully enhanced item
Thats a REALLY great move, imho.
In the meantime, stick with solmiki / 0 pot primuses (primae?) while you go through the above.
And, whats wrong with Solm gear? It’s still good. You don’t need velcoffer gear to beat velcoffer, jeeze. Pretty f’in sure quite a number of the people who get the gear first will be selling them.

I have, and thank f’in goodness my enhanced armor is separate.
At least I don’t have to attempt to re-enhance a piece of gear.
Don’t have that many DAs, you know. The cost of high + gear is much more than the cost of getting a half decent ichor.

Imagine now having to re-enhance your armor as well.
enhancing armors was never a problem, since most ppl stop at +6 or +11 and it’s good enough. Ppl who re-enhance their armors are ppl who were greedy and want +15 +16, i don’t see any problems of using +6 0 pot solmiki armors.
I don’t know about others but I upgrade my attributes to 70/100 depending on char, then gems level 8 at least, and finally diamond anvils, it seems more time efficient in that order.
Did you see that legendary items… have no sockets? Compared to 5-socket primus that’s a lot of damage or critical rate that you lose there… Or maybe the blacksmith can also add some?
Ich think this system is awful
they should at least give player a savtynet.
For example lower the generell chance to uder 5% but if u used all the potential just for ichoring you will get guaranteed sucess at 0 pot. So its lucky if u get it early but after spending 1200 powder u will get ur ichor anyway.This would be a nice setup and from the costs its also good.
Still unlikly that it can be implemented because people have to know that they can’t process the equip beforehand.

I just tried to extract an ichor from my fietas leather armor, four times, four fails. I will postpone it. It’s too expensive. And I’m scared of ending up with a 0 pot +6 armor before having velco ready for replacement.

Don’t we have a golden version of the extractor? I think I saw it at the Korean database long ago.
if that thing exists i think it’s gonna end up in leticia cubes, like golden anvil, you dont lose the item even if it failed and reached 0 pot
Just like the Hunting Grounds, Ichor Extraction system is another content that’s good on paper but badly implemented and it’ll take many months or more than one year to be adjusted. Or maybe they’ll make it easier to obtain sierra powder in the future.
They also increased the drop chances for Primus gear and Nobreer raid recipes, so they probably want us to keep retrying even it’s frustrating to break many Primus gear with good rolls.

I might be an exceptionally unlucky individual, or I might just have farmed not much in HG, but I never saw a primus dropping from there ^^; only from challenges
yea that’s really frustrating cause when you decided to ichor something it’s already an item with really good stats (which took a lot of rerolls). It will be another story if we can re-identify ichor stats like what we did with gears

People should consider more using blue stuff
It’s much cheaper to reroll, much cheaper to extract and is able to give satisfying results
