for sure cryo3, Most people that took cryo into warlock only took 1 cryo xD, Frost bolt > dark theuge (walk into them)
right now my mage is wiz->cryo1->??? i am debating i i should take kino 1, then cryo 2 at rank 4 or which way to go about it. Really hate how relianlt wizard is on skils yet they donât do all that great of a amount of damage for how stupidly long some of their cooldowns are. Like snow rolling is not that strong of a damage skill, it shouldnât need a almost 70 second cooldown, not when swordman or archer could do more damage with auto attacks. Hell my 120 archer hits for over 1000-1500 damage auto attacks atm, as archer 2 ranger 2. Cafrisun set+sacrament buff+arde and a few +elemental dmg things. Iâve seen my auto attacks do way more than some mages spells do even at 120. Its almost like âWhy even go mage if most of their spells do less than a archers auto attack?â Mages as a whole in tos really need to be redone from the ground up, they just donât do enough damage with alot of their skills to warrant the insane cooldowns. Though this is probally due to the poor int to matk scaling, and the fact most skills in this game do not use a % scaling method. Well other than attributes, and those are stupidly expensive, my rangers barrage one is at lv 27 and its 12k+ silver a level now.
Its also too bad the icewall shards donât seem to get buffed by your matk. Does it get buffed by the +damage attribute?
I do admti Imma laugh with glee when fletcher gets nerfed, we all know its coming it does way more dps than any other archer class hands down. SIngle target anyway, Aoe wise cannonner makes fletcher look stupid. Especally after attributes.
Tbh I just feel spellcasters in general are pretty underpowered in tos i felt the same way about them in ragnarok online, they have all these drawbacks but nothing to make up for it at all. Itâd be nice if our auto attack did proper damage, like our matk per hit, insted of level+int. So itâd be like archer thou a tad slower, if you left click to attack while moving with archer it skips the reload animations drastically increasing attack speed. But yeah most mage skills need their damage upped, or need their cooldown/sp cost reduced somewhat with the exaception of stuff like meteor from elem and the runecaster equivlent of it. Those spells are meant to be a slow single massive hit.

I think magic attack does raise the ice wall missile damage, but the scaling is not very good but you have to take into account that like an 100 damage increase in ice wall missles is potentially a 1600 damage increase PER round of ice wall missile, from my testing +attribute damage also increase the damage of ice wall.
I agree that Wizard cool downs are really long and have difficulty farming mobs solo. They work very well in groups though, where their superior AoEâs/Crowd Control come to play. They are more of a late game class, they shine when they start to get R6/R7
one quick questio tho, when enemis are affected by raised , can they still be attacked?

yes but they are considered flying, so ground aoe such as ice cloud will miss, but archers will do additional damage
Iâm going Cryo3>Psy2>RC for obvious reasons.
Lv.15 IW = 16 Cells.
Lv.10 PP = 16 Hits. (2 AoE atk ratio from gear)
I want to maximize the combination of IW+PP.

I donât think the AoE size of PP is large enough to hit 16 cells. And I also donât think PP is affected by AoE Ratio
it seems to take longer than jump backspace, but itâs good to have options XD

i have 0 trouble on jumping, in the video i just did it twice in a row because my first wall was terrible G_G
and i do, in fact, recur to it in boss fights sometimes, when i screw with ice barrier formation i just jump over it to try and get a good shot
but you should keep klaipedaâs quest for free klaip teleport (i think the npc name is commander uska or something like that), the quest that you need kill 100 monsters in forest of prayer and gain some gimmish as reward
so it shouldnât be a prob
Also, if you already completed that quest, you just need to get the fifth party quest on mercenary post to be the one that same npc gives, then you keep it up all day, and every day before log out you complete it and you wonât lose anything .-.
(you could get any fifth quest, actually, having it to be klaip one just make it a better âlog out placeâ )

if u want the ultimate boss killer, go for the first build.
if u want to be able to tank (CC), PvP and still do a lot of dmg to bosses go for the second one. iâm going for the second one, with no regrets till now xD
