Right now I’m leveling a cryokino to be alchemist, but I’m quite unsure about my next rank choice, even though the ice wall PP combo is insane with these formations. I’m c1 psychokino c2 cryomancer. I’ve been having a little bit of annoyance regarding ranged enemies and how they stand so far away from each other, something I didn’t have too much trouble with my pyrolinker. Will these enemies become less of an annoyance once I get frost pillar and snow rolling? Or should I advance my next rank into linker?
ice wall + PP is mainly for bossing, once you get ice pillar + snow rolling, killing mobs will be easier yes.
Ball+Wall + PP is bad. consider you losing 5 levels of wall to go for 2 balls that need you to setup significantly slower than just Icewall and then PP.
more Wall + PP is still a better option.
Do research before go for the wrong build.
It just fancy and can’t compete with multi icewall cells build.
link+cryo+kino >>>
what’s next ?
cryo2-kino2-kino3
//20ch
wiz -> cryo -> kino -> link -> Really up to you, could do cyro cyro warlock or kino kino warlock or link kino kino or link cyro cryo
Won’t you lack damage with all those CCs when cryo3 kino3? or does snow balling hit hard? or just for another CC?
well it depends what you want to do with your character.
My build is a PvP build, damage is moderate but lots of CC and utility. Its up to you on what you want with your build, a support or a DPS. If you want to DPS you would’nt be going cryo anyway, althought icewall + PP is a good damaging combo, it’s cool down is long and in terms of DPS, there are better classes like elementalists + warlock.
whats the sub zero shield mechanics like it blocks how many attack ? and does it reflect and freeze on all attacks ? or just melee ? does it increase defense?
In the long term(late game and next patch).
In your mind, which one will excel better both PVP and PVE.
Cryo3 or Kino3 regarding warlock in this build.
no limit to how many attacks, it doesn’t really block the attack, you take damage but if it procs they get frozen / damaged. Its for ALL damage sources, so I was dueling a Wushugu and they posioned me, however they had a low HP pool so they died to the reflect damage of sub zero shield before I died to poison (i used an antidote).
When I was against a Krivis/Druid he mind controlled me into his aoe and died before I did xD
I think unless they nerf Kino, Kino will be dominant in PvP.
However if we are talking about DPS, Warlock. Depends on which one you want to focus on, you cant really have both. You can have a balance but not the best of both things.
im kino 3 atm and cry 1 should i go cryo 2 and war lock or necro ? my build is kinda for pvp and pve both of them i was thinking of goin warlock c7 and necromancer for c6 cuz flesh hoop and dark theurge synergy with raise what you think
Viable but not tested xD, I’ve never seen that combination in action. You should try and tell me how it turns out.
i do want to , how ever i would be replacing sub zero shield which as i seen in some vids old ones , is really goof in pvp , dont know if it changed how ever does it proc alot ? does reflect protect from sub zero shield freeze and damage reflected?
Hey Batcat thats a fantastic guide man! Is it possible to link your build and stats allocation for me?
I am wiz 1 > cryo 1 > kino 3 atm and i really could use some help for my last 2 ranks.
When i first started ToS i really wanted to go Necro2 (still want to) and i was planing to use those last 2 spots for it. I love PvE but i am in doubt if its a good idea since i might be a lot weaker on PvP and that skeletons AI geez.
My second option was wiz > cryo > kino3 > rune > cryo2 or maybe wiz > cryo > kino3 > rune > warlock. Can u give me your opinion?
yeah I was thinking if I did go warlock I should have gone wiz3 kino3 warlock rather than having a cryo in my circle which would not benefit me at all, except for more ice walls of course.
full con, and max out c3 skills + ice wall and PP. I dont recommend rune for pvp.
its op. reflects everything.
