I remember watching player, guild, hell relationship dramas turning into branch wars. Someone would just be sitting on the lawn, stalker goes invisi mode, bam - 100 monsters and lots of bitching. XāD
Thatās one thing I can give RO that I havenāt seen on a lot of other MMOs thus far: Drama. And I mean, God drama makes it interesting. Entire guilds wanting to kill each other cause someone stole their grinding spot? Check.

Honestly drama is what made great MMOs great back then. Vanilla wow also had tons of drama between even same faction guilds, like world boss claiming and member poaching and PvP premade superiority, this of course also applied to cross faction too.
It strengthens the overall experience immensely, because it all feels organic and fostered by the game design.

Ahā¦ brings back memoriesā¦ In game dramas are the best dramasā¦Rarely(Except the Hardcore ones and the trigglypuffs) anyone gets hurtā¦ and most of the time no one is bound by rules(unless they go against the Eula)ā¦Its a blood festā¦like GoTā¦without the humping partā¦
And then there always someone roll the red carpet and hold the door for the losing team if the failed extravagantly.

I was really excited to level and rank up to Monk class but I just aināt really into it anymore after seeing another Monk with Valia and Arde dagger auto attacking everything to death while I was trying to quest for 0/10 monster in an area. I take like 5 hits to kill the mobs but he only need 1 hit with valia and arde dagger.
I am already way past the 90 dungeon req and I am still trying to get an Arde dagger for the past 2 weeksā¦ I just log in once a day, do the bossrush twice hoping for an arde dagger and log out. (Even wasting 60k silver opening for 2 extra talts)
I aināt feeling this game anymore. Why do I have to auto attack forever to kill a single mob when I could have did it in a single hit if I had the arde dagger? Especially those quest bosses that are simply HP sponges.
Until I get the arde dagger, I just donāt feel motivated or find any reason to play this game anymore. People buying arde dagger with tokensā¦ arghā¦ Of course I can easily just spend $5 and buy some silver from the farmers and easily buy everything I need.
But then what is the point of this game exactly if it was that simple? I am the kind of player that have no problem with farming games like Monster Hunter trying to get that rathalos ruby to drop or in warframe trying to farm that argon scope or in Diablo 2 farming mephisto runs x100
But this dungeon limit wonāt even let me farm the arde dagger. What is the point of this game huh? If you canāt even farm for gear.
I am just gonna go play Dark Souls 3 now instead. I REALLY wanted to like this game. I have been watching Log Horizon and Sword Art Online and was really in the mood for a game like ToSā¦

Problem is I donāt like playing multiple characters in this game or any other games. I am always the kind of player who plays 1 character only. I donāt have time to play multiple characters and even one character is already taking so much time for me so no way am I going to rexplore every single map and do every single quest again, I am bored of that ā ā ā ā .
I am fine with grinding, like I saidā¦ But this game actually LIMITS your gear grind with dungeon limits and it is bullshit to be forced to create multiple characters just so I can farm gear.

Well sadly I rerolled the cube so many times I think I could have bought an arde dagger if it was 500k by now.
The price for arde daggers right now is simply jacked up. Maybe in 6 months time it will be 500k.

only game i remb which had some unique quests and plotline which blew my mind were The Secret World from Funcom
RO, elsword, path of exile, DN, blade and soulā¦ i had much fun playing these mmo until this one. DN so far the best i would say. But the end game content quite disappoint so i quit. Wellā¦ I have faith this game will become much much better as it got so many āspaceā for improvement. But then I hope it wont be too late as the players dont have that much patient to wait, as nowadays too many new MMORPG out there competing.

Agreed i have hope for this game but its dwindling slowly and i most probably will drop it sooner or later sadlyā¦its more like a chore now then fun
There are space for improvementā¦ @lameranger ā¦but things have to wait due to the issues they are tacklingā¦sure they are but due to numerous setbacks they are facing they gonna have to withhold and delay any events they want to implementā¦
I just hope for the best
