Clerics start with 7 points in SPR…

We were talking about total points available to characters, not how much SPR he had. If that were the case he should have more than 367 assuming he dumped everything into SPR.
I dont know, i have done every avaible (not all hiddens ofc) quest on my char. I can post a screenshot tomorrow.
Stats thoughts:
-
INT / STR
Still scale badly compared to weapons being so powerful a small increase in it isn’t justified. Only pure INT works for Thaumaturge and that is about it. -
CON
Seems good actually. I like how much more health it is now and health regen. Remains to be seen how this affects potion usage though. -
SPR
Scales summons? Ok. Which ones and by how much? SP regen seems good now and might be a must. I think the m.def needs to be removed from this stat because no other stat gives p.def. -
DEX
Attack speed? Random skills? Evasion? Critical attack? Seems powerful still. I don’t get why this affects skills randomly. You really need to add a tooltip if a skill can be affected by this and by how much. This is getting confusing already.
Gear thoughts:
-
All sets have m.def / p.def
Good stuff. This needed to happen. I like how it’s scattered differently based on sets. -
Maces
Having both magic and physical in lowered values is a good way to go. It’s the hybrid weapon and works well like that. Opens up some interesting combinations. -
Critical rate
I like how critical rate is tied to gears, but it also means a lot of newbies will never see criticals. I wish critical was embedded into leather sets just like physical and magical defenses are, so you could enhance the item further to increase your critical rate. I hope this happens. Same with weapons. -
Weapons
It seems like we will be slaves to RNG anvils and hoping we don’t break our weapons when putting a ton of silver down on them, but I like that the silver costs are reduced. It means Golden Anvils are useful and it might mean you can enhance one gear so much you don’t have to transcend it and thus can share it with alts. I can only hope.
Other stuff:
-
Monster nerfs
It feels like they aren’t reduced, but adjusted. All across it seems like many of us are going to be weaker, but some stronger. The balance is shifting greatly but I’m glad the monsters are adjusted correctly to match this. -
Swords
It feels like swords will be hit hardest with this patch, with SP costs and losing 25% damage against their special target. Critical rate is hard to come by and even with full DEX specs in the past we had to squeeze every piece of gear with it to compensate. -
Clerics
It looks like PD2 and Miko builds are less lethal, which is good. Cleric is supposed to be a support / semi-DPS build, not an overwhelming solo machine with 5x damage immunities. I just hope that they are still able to solo just as well, if a little slower. It feels like a correct balance everything considering. They should be defensive, not offensive and the be-all-end-all class. -
Wizards
Powerful yet again with good scaling across all trees. However I feel like Linker is still in the old meta. It has to be reduced to compensate or I fear it will be something every wizard tree will choose instead of anything else. When you link 10 mobs and squeeze them together you basically just multiplied all damage by 1000%. This doesn’t seem right. Overall though I think they are at a good place, even sorcerers and necromancers who might go full SPR and have summons that are lethal as can be since someone mentioned SPR is a % increase in pet damage for each point. That’s the best scaling I’ve heard any stat have. -
Archers
Much like swords they are now trying to find out where the crits will be coming from, but most are looking into their super fast auto attack builds with new eyes. Quarrel shooters, musketeers and cannoneers seem to be making a return and hunters too. Overall I think every spec except maybe rogue are looking forward to the rebalance. Archer has always had it good and it seems to continue that way.
Please count your invested amounts in the tooltips when you hover over each stat, and ensure they add up to 367, not 365. If what you claim is true, people will be clamoring for another few bonus stat points, and the list will need to be updated accordingly (obviously wherever it is kept on this forum, as the reddit thread can’t be updated)
PVP Thaumas may go full CON instead, so they can be tanky at the start of the match and then swap to full INT if their opponent is crowd controlled.
Archer has always had it good and it seems to continue that way.
We’re probably playing different games then. At rank 6 (CBTs) archers were so crappy, there was hardly any reason to roll one. At rank 7 Archers got some bossing potential (especially fletcher 3) and AoEing with SR2. At Rank 8 content, the only archer build which can really bring out DPS is SR3. Pretty much all other builds don’t do anything as well as the other base trees.
So nah, it was about time archers got some damage at least. Falc 3 aisde, archers have pretty much 0 in the support and utility department, so makes sense if their skill factors get big enough (especially when most ranks/skills lack proper AoE potential).
swaaz dex theory 2.0
full dex with shark cutter stage 10 transcendence (SR never died?)
They removed the P2W SPR bracelets?
dont forget SR’s have limacon hahahaha
and Aspergillium too, if its not applaying to them, then it will be rip my chaplain dreams dealing about 15-20k per auto
and another thing to look is change of content difficulty, hp of mobs/bosses reduced by alot, everywhere, in fields and dungeons too
for example in 280 fields mobs have like 30-50k hp, currently in itos same mobs have 150-200k
so stop trying to apply new combat system to prepatch content difficulty, i think that now almost every class will be viable
So here’s the question then: Does the Kalejimas Visiting Room Revelation give 3 stat points? Because the Fortress of the Earth revelation does not. Otherwise there’s another 2 stat point quests somewhere not documented.
Why are you both missing 1 stat point quest?
Your 99.9% completion is triggering my OCD.
Err, I’ve explored every map to 100% except Sanctuary. All quests completed (except for the new ones that are related to the getting another Mystical Cube)
Are you sure we’re missing a point or you’re just imagining it?
330 Stat points from 330
7 Stat points from Zemynas
18 Stat points from first 6 Revelations
2 Stat points from Bosses
3 Stat points from Seir Rainforest chain
5 Stat points from Steele Road -> Fedimian quests
That’s 365 before accounting for your Kalejimas Visiting Room Revelation.
That would put the total at 368 Stat points.
You are both definitely missing 1 stat point.
EDIT: Wait… Do you start with a stat point at Level 1?
I didn’t miss any of that so maybe somewhere along the way, the game changed? No idea how or why, but as it stands, that’s where my stat sits.
Hopefully someone will come along and show their 368 total. Until then, I really can’t be bothered to double check it
Edit: Better yet, achieve that 368 and I will definitely redo everything
Nope-i-dope-ey.
You get a skill point, no stat.
