I want your Opinion about one thing of the new changes

Hi,
With the new video that had shown a little of what is about to come, I want to know your opinion about auto-attack.

How you think this will affect auto-attack?
I mean the damage will come most from Weapom and Stats.
If someone put higher DEX: shoot more. And if someone put more STR: hit more powerful, a character full STR/CON maybe will hit hard on Auto-attack, even with not much speed, right?

Some classes already have skill with 0 cadence, and some even use exactly the Auto-attack, so With lots of STR could this represent more damage than traditional skills in Long Terms, or do you think this still will be more inferior than Skills that traditionaly hit hard?

I KNOW, I know: skills with multihit will RULE and always be superior (when they hit the target of course)[That is why Pyro/Doppel are so much DPS in higher levels, since they do lots of mult-hits with powerful hits]. No doubt about that. My doubt is how much this will affect auto-attack/0 countdown skill builds. (Example: Corsair C2/Monk)

What are your toughts?

So, the stronger classes for auto attack are chaplain, QS and Chrono. QS will probably benefit more from full DEX builds because chaplains still are kinda supports and i dont see they going full damage. Chrono probably work too but meh…

Since DEX no longer provides accuracy, no physical damage classes can afford to skimp on STR (might be 100 points minimum, but we’ll see).

I don’t really know where to peg the new meta, besides basic attack builds using DEX to hammer out basic attacks faster (especially if each attack has 4-5 damage lines where STR only influences the first line).

For one, being able to complete a skill faster (via DEX) does not necessarily increase dps output if the skill is going to be stuck on cooldown for 45 seconds, so DEX may favor a busier skill bar or low cooldown skills; cannoneer’s cannon blast and shootdown skills have a 5 second cooldown, most rodelero builds are busy as hell with a lot of utility.

I imagine players using high damage/high cooldown skills will have to invest all-in to STR/INT and remap their class circles to cater to that side.

We’ll also have to see how much DEX is going to influence crit attack and how well that’ll keep the dps.

DEX will also increase the speed of 0 CD skills. This will be the strong aspect in my opinion.

I had to rewatch the video, I didn’t realize the DEX was only geared towards 0 cooldown skills.
Swordsman’s Thrust, here I come.

i wonder if pure strength will be any good.

full dex

toy hammer with stage 10 transcendence

yeah
This type of skill like thrust that I think will be better now with lots of str
But since is not Multihit will always be inferior to multihit skills

My Chaplain/inquis is going CON/DEX with a bit of SPR. Accuracy doesn’t matter much to me since it is a tower destruction build for gvg.

Isn’t Accuracy going to be based on your characters level with STR and gear only supplementing it?

Yeah but with the Gloves change to no longer be base accuracy I predict that physical classes will need STR to be able to hit players with points in DEX.

first, look at new blessing skill formula
https://tos-ktest.neet.tv/skills/40203

basically it (flatvalue+SPRx3)x1.5 at 15lvl with 50lvl attribute, wich will gives around +2500 bonus damage per line, this is with 500spr in stats

so, lets imagine you will have four damage lines, it will apply to each one of them, 4x2500=10k per auto and this is only with blessing bonus, wich is sounds pretty rediculous

please, correct me if i do math wrong here, wanna sleep so badly, maybe its not exactly 2500, but very close, and i dont know why still noone didnt test it out on ktest server

atleast i can give you idea for what to looking for, and my english is’nt good at all)
gonna go to sleep…

That is if you can reliably get 500 in SPR, which given the new stat formulas seems very far off.

Pretty sure without stat bonuses you won’t be able to get 500 SPR. You only currently have 365 points to spend @ Lvl 330, and then you’d have to get another 135 SPR from gears. Remember, they’re removing bonus stats: 365 Invested SPR = 365 SPR

Hidden classes during the reset…not going to like it. It’s going to be a pain trying to grab the hidden class when everyone is going to get it.

So kinda like it was for all the people that went through the quest when it was released?

Sorry but I have no sympathy. lol

I was testing Blessing + Sacrament, and seems that Blessing was not aplying to Sacrament extra damage line, I will reset to Chaplain and see if aplies to Last Rites

I have 367 points :stuck_out_tongue:

But it shouldn’t be that hard to hit 500 spr, considering high lvl weapons give spr and new 315 HG equips also give spr, if its not 500 it should be somewhere around 470-480 spr.

And where, pray tell, did the other 2 bonus points come from?

35 are accounted for.
