I came here to say that I am bad.
Yeah. At least they should say us SOMETHING! Like " We will wait xxxx month untill we get the balance patch" or " we will never get this patch", but they are not comuncating with us
No, they aren’t. From a technical standpoint everything you do on your PC is some kind of function written in some kind of language that is eventually broken down into binary so your computer can process it properly, but that doesn’t mean everything you do on your PC is “code”. I don’t have to translate, decode, recode and process this message I’m typing to you right now, even though I’m currently utilizing my keyboard’s software, the software of this forum’s text editor, the software drivers that tell my video card to display the text, etc. etc. etc. You can’t just wave your hands and say IT HAS TO DO WITH COMPUTERS, IT’S CODE.
There is a huge difference between simple script work and modifying source code. That’s why we’re able to have such a diverse range of addons so easily. Going into a few scripts and changing a few new numbers isn’t programming, that’s intern work. Maybe IMC’s iToS team has no interns and nobody else wants to spend an hour doing that, that’s the only reason I can see for us not having some of these simple numerical changes by now. Your ‘simple logic’ is just an uninformed assumption, you are the one who doesn’t know what you’re talking about here.
Actually regarding how long the “buff” can be implemented from kToS to iToS depends on how they coded the game. It can take a long time depending on how the game was coded. Normally with a good design translations, shouldn’t take a long time because everything involved is basically just editing a text file full of texts. And while it’s true that they could just push the kToS buff branch to iToS branch it won’t be as straight forward as it seems - because encodings are probably built for the kToS branch. On top of re-encoding it to match iToS servers they have to test it to ensure everything is working as intended.
If you’ve worked with text files on web, you’ll get my point that there are numerous encodings that you have to explicitly set. Similarly, if you’ve worked with databases you’ll see the korean migration is different from an international migration.
The argument about coding can stfu. The problem is these people at IMC do not prioritize the important sh1t.
“The problem of a character’s STR not increasing and their maximum Stamina not decreasing upon using a 5kg Dumbbell has been fixed.”
I am glad they decided to fix something important like this. fk these guys
iTos is a cash cow for IMC whom is taking advantage of it’s players.
Oh, and how the fk are you supposed to get 74 million silver to max out attributes to 100 … PER SKILL. This is also just insane to me.
Plan A : grind for countless hours - RIP LIFE/FAMILY
Plan B: own world bosses & try to get lucky with loot.
Plan C: Farm recipes & materials.
And finally plan D. RMT from the IMC allowed BOTS - then get banned.
Because at some point the world bossing/recipe/material farming will come to an end when everyone has what they need and prices will plumet, even with new players being added, either they risk RMT’ing and losing their account, or they resort to plan A & C, or try plan b and fail.
This game will die once people realize IMC doesn’t care about what the players are asking for.
Those who do not have an ET meta will be forced to re-roll to access content at 280. Just a heads up for the new players, don’t rush to 280 unless you have a ET meta class, there is no point.

Swordsman buffs are already available in game, log in you’re swordsman, remove all of his equipment, now exit to the character selection screen and click the “X” in the top left hand corner of you’re swordsman avatar. Now hover over Archer or Wizard and hit select, congratulations, you now have an actual playable character with an in party use of something other then pushing 1 button, and then holding block for 20 second intervals.
Lol good one verry very nice buff.
