I want to build a BM, specifically I want to utilize Bloody Overdrive, Mozambique, R.I.P., Smash, and Full Metal Jacket. I’m not sure how exactly that should be statted for yet, but I’ve run into conceptual issues with the theorycrafting I’ve done behind some of the builds.
Initial Questions:
Q1. What is the prognosis for Outrage? I watched some videos on it in action, and it seemed to have very small AoE range, appeared slower than running shot AA, and seemed to prevent doing much of anything else for its duration. I’m not really sure what its for I guess?
Q2. Does DGS actually do anything with the skills that require DGS in order to use? Or is it just a thing you have to have on, but it has no other actual role?
Here are some builds I’ve considered, and my concerns with each of them;
- QS3-Appr-Wugu1-Rogue1-BM3
This build was supposed to emphasize AA. I’d have Manahas set bonus, Zhendu, Pardoner buffs - and would have 4 lines of damage. Running Shot + DGS would result in hopefully high single target damage/bossing. My concern with this build though, is that although I’m wanting to use the primarily stated BM skills - they have such low CD’s and so many combined OH’s that I’m worried I won’t be doing much of any AA at all between all of the skill spam.
- R3-Appr-Rogue1-A2-BM3
This build makes use of the universal nature of Steady Aim, as well as the Crit Shot buff stacks. It’s pretty straight forward I think - my only real concern here is that I already have an R3-appr-Falc3-Mergen, and an R3-appr-SR3.
- Suggestions? Something else?
So in summary, my concerns are really that going QS3 first will be redundant due to the inherently single-target nature of most of the BM skills I would be spamming, or that sticking with the AA side of it will result in not really making use of what I perceive as the “fun” skills in the tree.
