I lost two days of the rank reset event because of a costume

Here it comes sherlok homes style deduction: From OP statement your two conditions were answered in the form of inferences:

-one we can infer the person was able to reset his character w.o issues up to when they found the bug.

  • second the bug started for him or her at 5/28.

Again all of these based on the context of what is up there in post 1.

I asked it a couple times because OP wasn’t clearly answering it. Instead, they decided to almost instantly accuse me of accusing them of making it all up to get free resets or something, as well as insulting me. All in caps, of course. I can’t watch the video, my internet is too crappy for that at the moment.

“I was participating in the reset event normally, until the 28th of May when I suddenly couldn’t remove a costume and thus couldn’t reset.” All it would have taken, and I’d have been like.

I couldn’t infer that they were playing/resetting before this point, because I have seen many people show up unaware of the event until it was well underway, and it was entirely possible that OP was one of those people.

you literally answered why you could infer that in your own post:

From that which i assume is the quote from OP, you can infer he was having not issue until that date. Meaning he was in fact taking part on the event prior to his issue. Forgot to bold the important part for you.

@treefosavior That wasn’t a quote from OP, that was a hypothetical response OP could have made to me at the start that would have saved this thread around 30 posts.

The reset event has been going since May 16th (16/5). All I had wanted to know was why this issue hadn’t been spotted earlier.

Putting words in my mouth and insulting me is not making me sympathetic to your problem.

This is what I had said in reply to that quoted post. Notice the bold. Past tense. The original post of this thread didn’t have that information. OP did eventually clarify. It was the the subsequent insults and accusations that kept me here, because I don’t like having such things levied against me without justifiable reason.

It took a bit, but everything was more or less dealt with. But then you arrived and decided to accuse me of harassing OP, which led back to the same damn argument over what I was asking, why, and all that crap. I got my clarification, I addressed my unhappiness with OP’s accusations and general behavior in the thread, and that’s all that really needs to be said on this particular subject.

Im not accusing you, im exposing you as a dam troll or a very slow person. That kept asking CPT OBV style questions (like details about something you had all the details you needed, to use common sense and formulate a response about the specific situation that was presented by OP), while attempting to appear as someone trying to help that got an angry response; which you did at first, and later deserved after being so dense about what was going on.

I still don’t know what that information would’ve helped you, @Aqours. Are you a GM? Will you take her stand in the following issue by pressuring IMC and such? The way you wrote your initial question SOUNDED like an accusation, yeah “Did the issue not exist until the last day of it?” . Also if you read OP post again you’ll see that she wrote: " For two days i’ve stayed with this bug" > implies that the bug was non-existent beforehand. You weren’t a complete a**hole like @CasualGamer but nevertheless helped keep the flaming on the post going on. You guys seriously need to stop trying to be knights or right 100% of the time and try to support a fellow player who had a problem with a company that has an absurdly inefficient support system. One day it might be you. Instead i hope someone doesn’t come in your post like you did here

I have my own grievances with IMC and their nonexistent tech support. You just won’t see me using excessive caps lock, insults, and accusations when I wish to share them.

It was for OP’s own benefit that I sought clarification, because the more information tech support has, the less likely they’ll waste a response asking a question about some detail that wasn’t clear.

I’ve made reports to IMC that listed out exactly what I had done or what the circumstances of an issue were, only to get told to do something I’d already said I did. Also, they like to close support tickets after a single response, so providing as much information as possible in as clear a manner as possible gives you the best possible odds of having your bug report read and addressed.

Seriously, if the OP bothers you just stop talking to them or replying to their thread. Why bring drama here ? Go somewhere else, people.
OP is pissed off because the staff only replies when they feel like it and almost never fix any issue, which is understandable.
The players are their clients, they should try to fix things/help them, but 99% of the time IMC tries to find a way to “get away” with the issues. It’s not even about trying to always blame the users, it’s how they say “Nope, can’t” or “can’t anymore”, or “I don’t know” most of the time.

Honestly, he explained it pretty well. He clearly explained that suddenly this bug happened and because of that he couldn’t reset and ended with a terrible build, and added that they ruined their 330 chacter by doing nothing.
All that implies pretty obviously that he had changed the build just fine before hand and then wasn’t able to change it back. You’re obviously asking for troubles by always asking the same things which OP answered to again and again, then wonder why he’s mad. Nobody’s in a good mood when someone keeps asking them the same questions, ignoring their answers. Especially if it’s irrelevant to the issue which was: IMC having all the info but refusing to help because the event is over while conveniently replying only once it’s over.

Just one of them was solved, in the past months. At least wasn’t ALL ignored. But still, “im sorry, we can’t do nothing” is still lame :c

Why people keep asking thing like “What the exactly time when the bug shows up?”. Did u really, really think the op was "Hmmm maybe it’s a lifetime bug. I should take notes of the exactly time to answer random people on the thread that ill make latter! GG"
I personaly know the OP. Such a nice person and a long date enthusiatic of the game. So many times defending the game and the IMC itself, and now all she’s asking is some kind of concern on her problem.
