thumbs up?,with the current state. Not even close
After all the explainations and you still say this bullcrap. Damn, what a waste of time.
Even Black Desert Online lets me give my alts gear and money unrestricted and that game has absolutely no 1:1 trading unless itâs potions or food (which canât be vendored back). Hell even my map exploration is saved between characters and that game has a way better handle on bots than Tree of Savior.
Not allowing yourself to give yourself silver and gear without penalty is stupid and by association, anyone supporting it is stupid.
I donât see how restricting my shared bank and not letting me transfer silver between alts is supposed to affect gold sellers.
Who supported that in this thread?
Hopefully no one did.
Give them money with your credit card and they just hand it over to you.
someone earlier said itâs money laundering meaning the gold seller himself giving his other character to hide his crime.
MAKES 0 â â â â â â â SENSE.
still cant change my ratings
i will change mine if they change the trading.
30 per month on free users and unlimited for token users which is a bit ok for me to change or simply make it unlimited to everyone
ok so people will pay cash to get items, if that is how they want to spend their cash on these digital fake items then so be it. IMC is offering plenty of items for cash anyways and they are still and will be getting all the support they will need. But to take away from the critical social aspect of an mmorpg by not allowing us to trade with each other is too extreme and really makes it very difficult to enjoy this game as much as we would otherwise.
Why not just allow trade but with the same tax and delay as the market?
Yes the gold seller will have it slightly easier, but itâs not like there is any difference from current situation.
On the subject of gold sellers and their effect on the economy, you should consider that buying token and selling for silver is exactly the same.
The only difference in the end is who gets the $$ - IMC or the gold sellers. The effect is the same - people can pay to get rich and control the market.
Removing trade and setting the 48 hour rules does not deter this. It just annoys the gold sellers, but people can still buy silver just the same from IMC.
As it is right now, with trading restricted and the auction limited everyone suffers while not actually preventing a collapse in the economy.
If anything, this situation is helping the gold seller as they can sell silver at a higher price due to how hard is it to acquire the silver from market.
Well, i am assuming they will make changes, but i dont think they will completely take away the restriction.
As for the money thing⌠RWT takes away from the money going to the game. In the situation with ToS ill use tokens as an example.
Someone wants an item and decides they want to spend money on it. They could get a token and sell it for 500k silver to get the item. But instead they buy the item off of a site for 15 bucks. Hey, he saves 3 bucks, why not?
Well, what happens is the money that could have went to IMC went to the silver seller. Also that one less token in the market place for free players to buy.
If this happens enough it would drive up token prices because of demand so it will be even more difficult for free players to get, also IMC loses more money.
IMC loses enough money and lets say they do drastic measures in the cash shop and noone wants that.
This is all hypothetical, but you can see why they would want to prevent it.
You could also make the argument that if token prices go up, more people would buy them, but im not a fortune teller. Iâm not an expert either so take what i say however you want.
I wish bots were gone and trade was free, but we dont always get what we want i guess.
Yes but you see, while one carries the risk of getting banned; the other doesnât.
Is that 10% really worth it? Itâs the same in every game, thereâs not that many people that actually goes to a gold seller website for that 10%. Itâs how every f2p game is still making money while they all have gold sellers too.
Thereâs way more people using the safe method.
Truthfully, I understand how the company feels about goldseller and how they really wanted to prevent it but taking away the basic necessity of trading and put limits to everything is not the way to do it. You might call that an idea but itâs just a burden to the community.
This game has a potential to be among the good ones out there but the execution is just disappointing. I always thought to my self, do players leave the game because of bots/goldseller? Or they leave it because of how IMC manage things. Sure people may leave due to bots/goldseller, but how many is that compared to the other one? Few people that I know doesnât even play anymore due to current state of ToS.
They have time before going F2P and yet one hope things would turn out better.
So much this.

Thatâs the thing. Only IMC wins in that regard with all their restrictions. Or rather, âwinningâ. It doesnât actually stop the gold sellers. Case in point, they continue selling.
While they continue fighting gold-sellers, the community suffers.
Personally, I like the game and want to support them. But like many here have posted, I abhor the restrictions they have put in place and hesitate to purchase. My friends, potential customers for ToS, are also turned off. With this very basic reason alone, they are already dismissing the game.
In the end, they will lose a lot more than gain any thing with what they have implemented.
For the continued growth of the game, they must reconsider with an alternative means of stopping RMT. What they have in place right now will just turn off potential buyers.
Does the market situation really make the game worth a thumbs down to you?
The entire game. Class system, skills, attributes, dungeons, quests, story, dialogue, graphics, etc is all âthumbs downâ to you purely because it takes 48 hours to get silver from a transaction? Something that can be looked into/adjusted?
Because thats what 90% of people curious about the game are going to see. A thumbs down. They wonât care to read your review and see why you gave it.
Just saying.
I already gave ToS a Thumbs up in steam reviews⌠that said tho if i see that in a couple of months we still have all the restrictions we have atm on trade and team storage etc⌠iâll change it to thumbs down
