As they have fixed the server and haven’t seen any bugs lately.
No.
I’m still not changing it until they change the bs market 48 hours and can’t trade silver nonsense.
Have you ever traded with gold sellers, Nep?
I know it’s to prevent them; but unless you completely disallow trading silver, they currently can still do it through market.
Why would a 48 hour restriction stop gold sellers, there would still be people that would buy it; Either get rid of market completely or get rid of this non-sense.
Same reason a 40 lvl restriction cuts back on megaphone spam.
It’s not about foolproof prevention. It’s about delay and documentation. I’m sure they have processes running during those 48 hours to process those transactions and flag ones that seem suspicious.
Yes but you see,
how can you say that this weapon isn’t worth 1 million, it could be a collectors item to some people.
You can’t measure the value of weapons or armor.
If the average price of that weapon is 2,500, there are 50 of them on the market for less than 10k and one sells for 1,000,000 then yes, that is going to get flagged.
Why would they use something that’s that common, they would use something that no one else sells obviously;
And there is plenty of mats and weapons not on market.
Dear Nep, have you heard about money laundering?
Dont, its like eating your own sh1t.
Dear jynxie, have you eaten ur own shiet?
Yeah this is true. I hate it.
Im pretty sure it has nothing to do with trying to stop RMT
And isn’t that exactly what I just explained that they would do? so how would you regulate that.
You can’t ban someone for buying a item that could be worthless to some people and worth alot to others when it could be rare.
oops , didn’t mean to give @tindcccd a reply
I’m still against Token price 198 TP = 18$ (you can buy with silver blah blah blah…) and trade restriction
They should make a tome that gives you an abilities to trade per use that cost around 5-6 TP (6 TP to prevent free TP being used)
ps. I prefer to use my silver on attributes training , upgrading gear , open boss dungeon box , so I’m interested to buy token with real money but the price is unacceptable
They can also keep track of the history of transaction as well. If someone is repeatedly buying very common materials for ludicrous amounts of silver, something is going on there.
Please note that I never said anything about bans. Flags are just that. Flags. What they do with those flags is an entirely different discussion.
I’m dumb, but this is how I understand why IMC do this.
For example, if i buy 1 billion silvers from those chinese gold seller f4cks, but trade is restricted ( thanks IMC for this), i can’t 1v1 trade them, so what now?
Oh yea, how about I put something on the market for 1 billion silvers and let the gold seller f4cks buy it, it’s legit right?
Or, if both sides have token, can managed to 1v1 trade, probably I’ll get my alt to trade, but I can’t transfer silver to my main, what now?
I’ll do the exact same thing that I said above, it’s legit right?
And imo, the wait time is for this kind of act, to see whoever the fk trade with those fkers and ban them for good.
also keep in mind the market has a very high tax. So even if they paid for your 1 billion item, you only got 700 mil for it (or 900 mil if you paid for token).
Obviously the seller can increase the buy price to compensate for tax, but the important thing here is that there is no way for a gold seller to transfer silver without 10-30% of it going out of the economy.
To be perfectly clear, I’m not saying that it shouldn’t change, and I’ll be happy if it does, but I also understand their reasoning.
I don’t get it even if you remove the 48 hour limit , they can still flag and do all those things?
The 48 hours didn’t change anything
I’m just speculating here. I don’t know anything about how they have things set up on their end.
But say for example, 1 gold seller buys 50 suspicious auctions, in an hour. It would be very easy to manually review the auctions and ban him at work the next day, and then they don’t need to worry about rolling back 50 accounts illicit silver gains.
Edit: If the auction silver transfer happened instantly, 1 of those 50 could enhance an item to say +13, and then sell it for lucrative profits on the auction house.
Then a 3rd party is involved. Innocent user who bought the +13 weapon. What happens then? That weapon should never have been created. It just becomes very difficult to manage.
^This. The 48 hours would at least give them the chance to prevent the silver transaction from completing. If it’s removed, then that guy who just bought the illegitimate silver can now quickly spread it by buying other things from the Auction House and then giving it to friends, and then those friends use their own legit silver to upgrade the items.
Prevents a lot of headache, assuming that’s what the time-limit is being used for.
