I dont want to level a fletcher .. what other choices do i have

I dont want to level a fletcher build type archer so i was wondering if any one can consider a aoe type build besides fletcher ?

Anything > Falconer > Musketeer/Canoneer

Wugushi and Falconer AND Canonneer AND SCOUT??

Are those classes Aoe type classes or single target … ( new to the game )

A mix of both, only canonneer class has all C 1 skills as AOE

Is falconer even necessary if you can get a bunch of +AoE atk ratio gear?

archer 3, quarrel shooter 3, ranger 1.

… ok i never said it was a -good- option.

@fantasyfreak112 Falconer doesn’t so much give you AoE as it removes the enemy’s protection against AoE, making your skills that much less resistable.

+AoE atk ratio is removing the enemies protection against AoE…

All this stuff is confusing at times…

AoE atk improves your ability to hit more targets
AoE def improves their ability to not get hit

Falconer’s Circling (i think?) applies a -AoE Def debuff to the enemies.

Ok, gotcha.

I just want to know what archer class i can play that does AOE damage as well as good single target dps that is not fletcher. Would really appreciate it if anyone would give me a build setup.

I have been checking out http://www.tosbase.com/ trying to find some thing but it would seem all the builds besides fletcher are single target builds for the most part.

sigh…

Are you purposely grasping at non-existant straws or do you really just enjoy arguing? If your +AoE atk ratio is lower than the enemies +AoE defense, they don’t get hit. How is that not “removing the enemies protection from AoE” just as I said? ffs man

It’s still hard to find +AoE atk ratio gears for archer
in telesia
only light plate set that isn’t expensive
vubbe gaunlet 700-800k
gladiator band reciep around 12-15m
headgear I had seen a 2m in early May, but don’t see anymore now.
phagus not sure if this ring is craftable at the present.
maga bow 2.8-3 M
ava caonnon recipe 3.5M
lolopanther necklace still not see.

and archer need at least +3 aoe ratio to make skill like multishot start hit 2 target for most enemies.

Not easy and very expensive for sure but worth the effort since it frees up an entire class.

well, it literally removes -nothing- from them…
having a higher AoE Attack just overpowers their defenses.

taking Falc/Circling will lower their AoE Def (note how this -actually- takes things away from them.)
…and can be COMBINED with +AoE atk items.

plus like @frontler mentions; +AoE atk gear is either quite uncommon, or ridiculously expensive.
