I would like to know if am i doing something wrong with Archer’s pet… It doesn’t follow me it doesn’t hit the target i am point in too at duels goes round and round soooo… how a pet can help an Archer exactly ?
This problem was before 8 months too and it still is on… can you fix it already ?
It makes me wanna break my rooms wall.
Once the pet breaks there two things you can do: force it around with /comeon so it atleast can be used, the other is go through a loading screen.
Now for either retrieve or coursing you must have a target selected for it to execute, rush dog and snatching will receive the same threating some day. supposedly…

Turn of pet auto attacks. This helps with positioning your pet as well reducing the chance to get stuck a little.
Mind your distance between mob and pet (need to be pretty close and be looking at the mob you want to hit for Rush Dog and Snatching)
If the pet gets knocked back during Rush Dog it usually sits around until you move a little away from it then follows back to your position.
Slopes (like stairs or rubble you have to jump over) are a pets greatest weakness.
Hunter is less broken than half a year ago but still broken as hell. Good luck getting used to it.

Is there still the bug that taking the pet heal attribute will increase the chance of the pet getting stuck or did it turn out to be just a myth at the end (cause I have the attribute and didn’t notice anything)

That attribute I’'ve had since I turned hunter 1, I think it’s just a myth, never bother to make another hunter just to test that out, the pet will break regardless so pointing fingers to that attribute always seemed silly to me.
Be it for too many commands, be it for bad path finding, pet breaks. just had to use hounding during its time, ended buying a TP pet just to make my life easier.
