Is there a way to recover a companion’s Stamina outside of feeding them?
-
How should a pet be trained via the Companion Trainer? So far I’ve bought about 10 levels into ATK - but am not sure if I should do that or just pump pure HP so that they live longer…
-
I read that Coursing works on bosses in so far as you get the +crit rate but nothing else. I cannot seem to even get that to work though - is this normal or a bug?
-
I’ve also read that training the First Aid attribute causes the pet to behave more brokenly - is this worth the tradeoff?
-
What are pet equipments and when will we get them?
-
Has the development team mentioned anything about correcting the various bugs/AI related issues with Companions?
-
Pointing - does the attribute for 15% fear chance only occur at the time of casting the skill, or is it something that periodically has a chance to go off so long as Pointing is active?
-
Pointing again - is this skill an aura? Or a debuff that is applied once?
I’ll try to answer in the best of my knowledge as well as from experience as having a Hunter C1 main:
-
No, but you can get the attribute to increase the stamina reduction cycle of the pet (increase it’s duration before having to be fed again). Be noted that you can NOT feed pet inside dungeons/missions (at least in the game’s current state, might be fixed later if not intentional).
-
If you rely on Hunter skills, ATK is good, but I wouldn’t really invest much into pet stats yet as I’m not sure if these trained stats will be carried over into another companion if in case you’d like to switch to another one (e.g. when new companions are implemented).
-
Crit buff/debuff doesn’t seem to work on bosses, at least from my experience. Only snatching seems to work on bosses, including the 20% slash/strike bonus from attribute (weirdly even on non-flying, but that might be fixed later on).
-
Haven’t noticed any difference. Pet AI has always been broken.

-
No ETA from IMC yet. I’m not sure if it’s on kTOS already.
-
None that I know of so far unfortunately.

-
It triggers by chance while target is under Pointing.
-
It’s a sustained/duration-based debuff which requires your pet to be near the target (and not disabled) during the duration. If target is able to run away from it while duration is still active or if your pet is disabled, the debuff temporarily goes away until your pet gets near the target again.
Hope that helps.
