I dunno man. I have like very simple stuff that I got myself.

Red versi gloves took me like 30 minutes, khasti bow I bought recipient and farmed mats at Dina bee in like an hour. +8 Dex quest armor, and now I made roxona pants. Like bare minimum. Wearing zachariel bangle and berkaras bracer

All that on my scout. I tested damage on lvl 1 split and lvl 5… Difference is very noticeable. Like 1.2k so far with attribute 45.

I strongly advise on going split 5 since lv15 pots are quite cheap for what they do, so…

Ah, didn’t know about the double damage thing, I guess I’ll purchase that ability now, I have a question if you could help me out on this I’m following iDreamy’s build but I’m not much of a rogue fan, what could I replace rogue with? I’m A2 R1 S3

honestly id continue tht to rogue at 7 and transition it to a budget dungeon farming alt then start a separate new one so you can just go the pure archer3 scout3 then either falc/mergen or musket2 route, outside of tia you will find no scouts whatsoever wasting a circle on ranger just for barrage5 and steadyaim5

so glad to be done with this game aswell as highlighted by mic01whatever’s salty tears, what an absurd argument, go scout3 and leave its main damage dealing ability at 1/5th of its power b/c you are too fkng gimp and/or poor to afford the sp cost, so pathetic, that account/scout in the video is 2 months old you pleb, my original founder’s account is avenfell, not sniper_jc6, git gud

I don’t get why the QQing so much about 1/5 as soon as I got scout 3 I made it 5/5 and damn it’s amazing, I don’t even worry about sp pots they’re cheap and I always make way more than what I spend on sp pots.

I’m not really sure about making another one I just wanted scout 3 for the silver farming to fund my in the making dragoon

I just recommend 2 or 3 b/c the game is so corrupt, every month another entire zone is lost to afk farming, the bots only multiple, never decrease, so on and so on. For every scout3 or similar farm character you have, that’s 1 million guaranteed silver per day for 45-70min of your day. I actually preferred my scouts to the fotm builds so I put more work into mine, my 1st founders character was an 280 catagoon, I also took an elememe to 250+ along with an SR. The scout3 just always fit my needs better.

from your experience what’s your preference full str full dex or 50/50? I saw your picture above and that 800crit rate is damn sexy a’f looks more interesting than my 1k dmg/100crate

Also, do you share your main scout equipment with the other scouts transfering through storage, or each scout has their own set?

STR atm is in a bad place, as an archer you basically have no use for it outside of block pen and tbh how many hogma warriors are you really locked into battle with on an daily basis…
Since the change to gems and hair costume the vast majority of people went full dex and no-one lost physical attack due to the new changes, you see in my screenshots my PA is quite high and I have 0 points invested into STR.
The idreamy guide was written a LONG time ago and @Dreamy hasn’t played in months, while the core of the build and skills are still accurate the stat distribution is terribly outdated, even with a rogue splash its best to go DEX atm.

(sorry missed the last qstn you asked, I transfer armor b/c atm I’m not transcending armor, bows are unique to each character though ----- also I am done playing for the moment, I still will glance at the forums though to see if things change so you can prolly get a reply from me here and there but eventually I wont be replying, after so long you lose touch with the current metas and I don’t want to give outdated info)

Thanks for the input, I saw it strange how most people were full str guess I figure out now, I’ll make sure my new scout is full Dex cheers for the replies and have fun in FFXIV, it’s good to take a break once a while o/

this, tbh i wouldn’t rely on the rogue sneak hit for crits just to build str
gems simply give A LOT more damage numbers than str can.
even if you go pure str and nothing else you won’t have as much critical attack as someone who just punched a few lvl 7 yellow gems into his weapons
the only build right now that is actually better to go str on is a QS 3 wugushi 3 build.

Hakkapelle seems to be a great choice for that build.
QS 3 wugushi 3 has very high dps even in rank 8, and with the addition of hakkapelle the damage is awesome

Is all wugu skill usable on mount? Sorry im on my phone right now, can’t do a quick check online.

Most skills except throw gu pot and jincan gu can be used mounted.
A bit disappointing, but nothing significant since its a pve build.

Ya idk if ill be back though, I’m sick of having different rules for different players, since April I have been 1 of the top farmers on Klaipeda, leading several high value mobs in kills for months on end, selling 10s of millions in socket horns, rapid bangle and hunter bangle recipes, brown tini horns, brandish recipes etc etc, ontop of that at times I would solo as many as 12 145 dungeons a day. All that being said, I have never had anything higher then a +10 weapon, and that was only once, I have lost well over 90 million, that’s not an exaggeration, 90 million in anvil fails. Meanwhile 8 in 10 people can +0 to +10 with 0-1 fails on a very regular basis.
The broken rng is what caused me to delete my original account with over 1700 hours on it “Avenfell”. In a 2 day span trying to get an maga bow and a light gorithos from 9 to 10, just 1 lv on each, 9 to 10, I lost over 38 million and knocked them both down from full to 0 potential, and even threw some gold anvils at the light gorithos (this was before rank8 and we knew augfowle bow was otw).

Would you mind if I ask you how you farmed those recipes? I’ve been looking for info on those to farm but couldn’t find anything quite reliable.

Srry to hear about your fails, that is mostly one of the reasons I’m so scared about enhancing the fails, and ooh the fails can be so extremely expensive and saddening

sure, rapid-viltis forest woodluwas / hunter-mage tower 3f red inforcktors, both those recipes take on average 30-45min assuming no-one steals your dpk, brandish is shatyims in royal mausoleum 3f

ya I haven’t rng farmed in a long time, for new players starting out though its needed to get those attributes to 70 to 80 and get the essential overpriced pieces like sissels, eventually all you have to do is your 145 daily dungeons to maintain costs though

30-45 mins for rapid/hunter? that sounds amazing, would cut costs on my sissels ty for the info, lucky for me in my server most maps are empty at 10 so I should be fine farming there
