here are the 3 main things that just need to do to fix your GBL:

THE ENEMY SHOULD NOT BE ALLOW TO GO INTO YOUR SPAWN POINT.
Seriously, all you have to do is remove the fkin stairs that lead up to the spawn spots and just have people that want to exit the spawns by walking off the ledge. If you don’t understand how hair pulling rage-quit inducing this is, JUST PLAY THE GAME FOR YOUR SELVES TO FIND OUT. -
EXTEND THE TP REWARD TO THE 20TH PLACES BY GIVING TEAMS FROM 11TH TO 20TH PLACE 1 TP PACKAGE, THEN 21TH PLACE TO 30TH PLACES 30 TALT.
Once again, seriously, this is just simple logic of marketing, JUST THROW THEM A BONE and watch more smaller guilds have the balls to throw themselves into the RNG ring. All of the smaller and weaker guilds out there avoid playing GBL completely because “THERE IS NOTHING FOR THEM TO RISK THEIR FACES FOR.” Just throw them these tiny incentives and watch everyone start rolling the wheels.
Also, if your reply to this is that “but then there will be too many people controlling the tp market” REALLY? and you think having 1 fking guild keep being 1st place since the beginning of GBL is fair and fun for everyone and that they DON’T monopolize sht at all? WAKE THE FK UP AND SMELL THE SHT THAT SHAPE LIKE A ROSE! -
LOWER THE NUMBER OF MEMBERS ON EACH TEAMS TO 8
Remember when you, IMC, got HIGH and made GBL 10v10? I guess not, because if you EASY BAKED HEADS actually noticed what happened, a lot more guilds actually went to take part in GBL because they felt that it’s at least less humiliating for a team of 3 to 4 people to go up against 10 people instead of reenacting every gang rape scenes from any gang rape porno with the 15v15 battle.
Seriously, again, WAKE UP AND ACTUALLY LOOK AT YOUR FKIN GAME. There are more small guilds that cannot field any more than 4 people than the 3 guilds that actually can field a full team, and people aren’t autistic enough to like to lose non-stop in 4vs15 battles.
Like RO, this game need GBL to be the center piece, but if you can’t even get the basics of the GBL right for your audiences then you will fail.
