Thank you for the break down
I gotta try and find some SP Recovery head gear!
I am really trying very hard to play the archer. I am currently lvl 80, A3,SCout1 and literally sleeping when playing the class. The auto damage is so slow and I have to keep spamming Oblique shot lvl1(Rank39) for the past 80 levels and my mana keeps draining like water.
I have a A1,R3 and also find it tough to play due to the mana issues. Any inputs please thanks.
Like others have stated, bonfires, sp pots, and SP recovery head gear seems like the answer.
Iâm currently debating rolling a Swordsman and going Fencer, but I really like to play Bow and Arrow classes :\
I have a friend that is loving his Wizard, and I canât play with him cause I keep rerolling probably trying to fix something that isnât actually broken
I too love the bow and arrow class. I just have a feeling they need to tune some skills to be more better for the early to mid game experience. If I have to be level 200+ to fully enjoy my class than its pointless.
Iâm getting that vibe too, but @thebloodyaugust claims the class is great from level 1. So maybe we are just missing something, a simple mechanic that will make the class click better for us perhaps.
I sure hope I can figure something out
Have you guys + your bows?
I donât remember the exact percentages but missile attacks have -% modifier on each size of opponent. As you + your weapon it removes those -%'s and eventually you get into positive % increases.
If you search the forums it has been discussed previously. Basically upgrades are more important to archers.
Sorry i donât have a thread off hand to link you to.
Thanks for that, I am going to go search for that information now. I currently only have a +1 Composite Bow
make sapper, no sp problem, amazing aoe but cd reliant.currently playing as archer2-sapper2-rogue2.and its damage is quite good both singe target and aoe.
Oblique Shot > SP Pots > SPAM IT
You donât need rocket science to know it.
Donât wait your SP gets to 0 to use an SP pot, the 480 silver pot recovers 285~ SP, so always use it when you are missing like 300 SP.
Doing this you will never run out of SP and wonât need to stop your progression sitting down for bonfire.
If you play correctly you will be good til fletcher on dungeons
To add up, check the achievements npc whenever youâre in town. They give free money for sp pot and maybe even enough for decent weapon at your level.
This is my opinion.
Im going Fletcher so probably would burn a lot of MPâs so basically I prefer putting a little SPR(for about 20) since this stats would be permanent(unless you use reset stats).
The reason why I choose SPR over MP regen/MP pool enchant or gems is that itâs a waste of Silver, investing on just a MP regen items where you cant permanently equip it because in the end game you would probably change your equips to a better ones so putting blue gems on an armor is a waste if you will equip the new ones. Also SPR is not useless because it gives magic armor if youâre into PVP. so for me I will invest putting a bit of SPR rather than investing Silvers for enchanting/Gems.
I saw 3 hair acessory with diferent values of Regen SP on AH. One of them was 50k. Really. It gives around 30 regen sp, that is, alone, 2x SPR, bonus stats included.
Magic def You will be ok on gear.
Block Penetration even cafrisun set has it.
Guys, pls, for the last time:
DONT PUT ANY POINTS ON SPR.
Cya, gg all.
well, we have our own build. thatâs just my opinion.
cheers everyone!
I play A3 too but A3 and sapper1
I donât have problem lvling just use twin shot 1-2 time mob(at lv80) usually die and use multi shot time to times I donât bother lvled oblique shot. in early stage you donât usually upgrade armor so those cloth armor and accessory that give sp/spr are nice to use despite of lower stat
If you keep do quest of both klepedia and orsha sides, do dungeon run everyday, keep exp card and use it when your lv fall of your quest map or use as emergency hp/sp charger you shouldnât have problem.
You need to remember that for every point youâre putting into SPR, youâre basically trading silver for dps. Is it worth it? I leave that decision to you.
Itâs painful early as an Archer but bear with it, you donât need SPR because once Alchemists sells SP potions, youâll realize SPR investment is a huge waste.
Itâs really bad to have SPR investment just to get more block penetration. You should get those from gears, not via stats.
For more newbie friendly start on Archer, go Ranger for your first advancement.
Itâs bad if you invest it on FULL SPR. but I think itâs fair if you get just a bit of SPR for a fletcher because it will burn your mana with their huge SP costs skills with 0 cd.
Iâve seen many Fletcher vids spamming Crossfire(90 SP, 0 cd) and equiping Blue gems on Armor/Pants for SP pool. I think this is the counterpart on not investing SPR. If you get higher levels you will change your equipments/armor so basically youâll craft high level Blue gems again and socket it on new armors thatâs way more expensive I think than putting a little SPR. Well, this is just my observation.
