How is this build? 03/03/16

I call this the IDGAF build. This build is designed for pvp.

Basically, I wanna keep opponents away from me and just straight-up attack.

Any feedback is welcome. Up until now, I’ve been making some pretty garbage archer builds, so feel free to be critical.

that’s a lot of skillspoints distributed on a lot of skills on sapper. I suggest choosing a more solid leveled skills than getting lots of skills but fails to bring damage, because unless you have invested a lot of stats in SPR I can’t imagine you being able to spam this many skills and the required items to cast the skills are costly, also if you have lots of SPR then you will also fail to deliver very lethal dmgs and put some levels in detonate trap because it’s really useful. the skill Kneeling shot is in my opinion not a good one because it’ll disable all your skills while you are in kneeling position, also the Heavy Shot and Full Draw kinda contradicts you because you’re a trapper, you don’t want to push them back, you want to bait them to get closer, one knockback skill should do the job a level7 - 9 Full Draw should suffice, also max your Swift Step since you’re already Archer C3, kind of a waste if you don’t because of the additional 15 sec duration and 5% evasion if it’s L15

just a one man’s opinion though you’re free to ignore or follow my advice

I personally think you can’t pass on Scout if you’re planning on pvp

Hmm, alright, so I can probably do something like this:

I read your comment about Heavy Shot and Full Draw, but the pvp seems to heavily focus on crowd control. It probably won’t hurt to have it just in case. With this rebuild, I should only have to buy Ash Wood and Claymores. Anyone know how much they cost?

Why you need archer3?
if archer3 is not that important for you then can save it for good rank6-7
such Reiter, Musketeer, Cannoneer.

Right. Forgot that I can pick C1 Sapper in place of C3 Archer. I’ll just do that then. That way I can reach Canoneer earlier.

Actually more skills doesn’t necessarily mean that you’re stronger because later on some of those skills will go obsolete, so my advice is only pick skills that you’re sure that you will use till late game

A wait. This wasnt answered yet.

If i remembe rcorrectly and they dont change it.
Ash wood was around 200~300 silver.
And claymore around 700~900 silver.

Anyways. Heavy shot is enough on level 1… full draw on 3.
FUll draw 3 for the faster level 1 load.

As the higher your level of some load skills is, the faster the early ones load.
Multishot 15 loads nearly as fast as multishot 9.
And if you only load multishot to level 9 … it’s faster then a true level 9er.

Weird, but true.

PS: Early Rank skills suck on Skill Atk … it’s pointless to take them to high in skill level normally. But some skills scale well later on, others are just for ability in it.

Stockade, scales well as triple hit!
Claymore is good, situational perfect against flying types.
Punji is good at level 1 and still only good at level 15, the damage comes from the attribute. Which is 50% of your atk to each monster that is hit by the thrown enemy(s). AND per enemy you flung at them … So 10 enemy flung around, everyone get’s 5 times your physical atk as damage.
Detonate, leave it level 1 xD… it’s nice to detonate some spells sometimes. But it wont do much damage (compared to higher level, your physical atk scales better then skill atk here).
Broom trap= level 5 is 200ish atk less then level 10. Duration increase trough attribute~
COllar Trap= good scaleing. Can be resisted …
Spike SHooter= Useless, totaly useless 120 seconds cd.

Sapper C3 isn’t that good xD. It gives you a bit more damage here and there, but no cd reductions or duration increases. Only thing it enhances well is collar trap ^^. Not worth for me atleast, when you look at the classes you could take instead…

Thanks for the replies. That stuff is really expensive.

I’ve redone my build to the following. I’ve selected Oblique Shot, Heavy Shot, Full Draw, Stone Shot, Teardown, and Punji Stake purely for utility rather than damage. I stuck with Collar Bomb too, though I now see that it’s not too reliable. The bulk of my DPS is in Sapper and Canoneer.

Critical thoughts are welcome, but at this point, I should mention that I plan to main a Cleric. If I make an Archer, it will be an alt.

:cold_sweat: QS circle3 pls

Ouch, you’ll have a hard time leveling this one…

If you want sapper, I recommend going ArcherC2 (or Ranger) and then immidiately Sapper so you can get Broom Trap at Rank4
