they should add some more interesting stuff, like random events/patrols/elite invasion/zombies magic circles, etc… just to add awesome to the difficulty.
Random Grim reaper increases difficulty.
nearly 70% of game content easy for solo play. 20% hard for solo. 10% nearly impossible for solo. what else do you want? =))) 100% solo content? may be you dont need any MMO game? =)))

i dont tell “absolutely impossible”
certain % is hard solo for usual player, and some is nearly impossible.
Just look the videos with soloing all dungens (which are created for 5x party):

heres the problem… when you say a certain % of the game isnt soloable. ill show you it is… or ill skip that non solo content and keep lvling my character… completely disregarding what you thought was impossible. or showing you how easy it really is. i will and along with thousands of other soloers, max out gear without the help of others.

dont mistake the power of the solo players

Well I did say that I like playing solo “Most of the time”
I was just saying the things you listed up there is fine as long as it does not become impossible to solo.
Since not everyone plays in a party and not everyone solo plays.
And everyone has their own way of playing this game.
For me I like soloing most of the time simply because I like taking the “Scenic Route”.
I like exploring this world and enjoying myself when I get lost in it…
I cannot do this kind of thing when in a party as I will definitely slow them down and be a burden.
I want to be able to play and travel around the world at “my own pace”
Also consider this scenario…
When I solo play… there is a chance I can meet random players who are having trouble.
Like for example I see a player being chased by a ton of mobs. I go in and help that player.
From there we can either go our separate ways, or we can party and start traveling together…
This is how I meet new friends when I play online games. So I definitely need the “MMO Aspect”
That build you linked doesnt have video solo dungeons. And most of the class can solo dungeons as long as you have enough time and know how to pull mobs. The only class in icbt2 that can easily and fast enough dungeon clear time is necro sorc. With his 7 summons, he have enough dps and has tanks to finish the dungeon. Wont be possible with rank 7
Double summoner Necro-Sorc build isn’t possible anymore though. But yeah, i wan’t them to increase dungeons difficulty, they are supposed for party play not Kirito-kun~.
I think they are about to balance the defense part, particularly in SPR.
I hope they also buff C2 class and further buff C3 on the scaling.
Why isn’t it? sorc-necro-necro should be fine, it isn’t like the commands were that useful anyway.
Because the pet ai suck ? Hold is needed for grinding and Raise Dead was moved to C2. My Sorc-necro friends either switched to Sorc 3 or Sorc 2 - featherfoot.
Thats why I said not possible with rank 7. Only at maybe rank 8 or 9. If you really want to be a summoner and if you dont like higher ranks. Also if raise dead is at rank 2, if you get necro 3, you can have at most, 10 skeletons, then add shogoth and temple shooter.
in playlist videos from 4 to 10 are soloing bosses from all dungeons (90-190).
there are no video how he pull simple mobs in dungeon. you dont trust him? =)) or you think its impossible for elementalist, who kills boss with 5-10 skills? =)))
here is video how he kills mobs (sleep and aoe)
Actually this build is for party play, its not a good idea to soloing dungeon, he’d be screwed by ranged mobs.
We need hardcore mode dungeon with less tard and better loots~. Less Kirito wannabes pls…

A monster inside Royal Mausoleum 5F already know Death Sentence and Reverse
soon they will learn Revenged Sevenfold.
Don’t give the devs ideas. <_<
I agree with many things the OP says in regards to these tactics not actually increasing player enjoyment. I remember in the iCBT2 on the level 127 Altar Way map there these horrible high HP mobs that shot this ridiculously overpowered seeking spell, Lapasape Shamans, I spent the absolute bare-minimum of time on that map and ignored that specific mob as much as I possibly could.
Unavoidable attacks in a game where we are clearly meant to be able to dodge things are just a bad decision. But I think this also brings to light how imbalanced magical damage is for mobs. In this game it’s very hard to create a defensively balanced character, and even if you can, magic defense just doesn’t seem to work properly. I had a str/dex hoplite with high physical defense and any mob that did magic damage just wrecked it. But then I also had a str/spr paladin with high magical defense and high physical defense… and magic damage still wrecked it.
The game is still in beta, if there are issues we have problems with it’s our prerogative to inform the developers. It’s their jobs to take our feedback and decide how to deal with it.
I am all for the game becoming a little less faceroll. I also don’t think there is one magical solution to that problem. But I do agree that cheaper mob tactics is definitely not a solution.
