Hello there!

So let me relate what I have experienced while playing this fantastic game!

Exp rate IS DAMN FINE, seriously I have achieved rank 4 our of 10 in 5 days… This is a perfect ongoing. It will take time to get to the end and IT’S OK. I don’t want this insta-gratification, I want to work hard and get on top of the others. This games offers me this challenge!

Mana Regeneration I am probably not the only one who thinks that Spirit points doesn’t seem to affect my regeneration much… I was always chugging lots of mana potions, always on cooldown. Maybe this need a little revising, not a lot but just kick it up a notch.

Classes vs Damage Ok this is one thing that didn’t go well for me, I played Wizard 3 and then Elementalist. For being a “magic” “DPS” class I wasn’t doing much damage compared to a Crit Barbarian or even a Highlander crit. Magic Missile(which is rank 3 Wizard) is supposed to be the pinnacle of the wizard and frankly… I did not use it much. I did around 700 per bolt, 3 bolts per cast, 2 cast before cooldown. Which at first seems good! but go against a pack and the bolt divide, 3 hits on random mobs. Compare it to the Barb auto crit of 2.2k damage per attack and my Magic missile seems like a pony next to a stallion. I know, there is some balancing left to do etc. But I think it deserves attention.

Questing vs Grinding Overall this was perfect for me! A good balance between doing quests and having to grind. Near one level in quest and then about 2 level to grind seems to be a good mix for me. I enjoyed it.

I only had time to test out Wizard to rank 3, Elementalist 1 and Swordman 1 but this game is gonna be a must play for me when it goes live that is for sure!

Thanks for allowing to play IMC. Thanks to all fellow players with who I played and I hope to see you in the next beta!

I don’t have much to add but I want to say that I agree with this 100%, coming from someone who usually hates linear questing and themepark-y MMOs, I enjoyed the balance between questing and grinding.

I think it’s because you can’t just keep going on the quest chain mindlessly, it will get really hard if you don’t take the time to keep up with the levels of the quests making it more dynamic and having to make decisions instead of just following orders until max level.
