I don’t care 'bout playing in parties. I’ve always liked to grind alone, although I have some friends playing now and they are almost at the same level as me. I have a friend that likes to hunt bosses and we are going to play a lot together with this nuker! But actually I’m going to make another HL3, this time to become a Shinobi.

Pelt 1-> High C3 -> Fencer 1 here, haven’t had a hard time leveling/grinding, Moulinet and Catar Stroke usually clean up the mobs so the grinding isn’t as bad as most people tend to think.
Dealing 11k(crits) on Skyliner with Lunge -> Crosscut -> Skyliner combo which is pretty cool.
The only issue i have with Highlander is the buggy ass Crosscut bleeding…
does crown really work? i have been trying the debuff on mobs that cast magic but the damage they deal is still the same, had level 10 crown at that time.
how will high3 excel in pvp specially duels at 1v1 against barb3 / dopple? given the build pelt1 > high3 > fen2? im just curious.
I don’t know why people take Pelt 1 then High 3. You don’t need a pelt for early levels, just go High 3 then take Pelt 1 at rank 5. Much easier and gets you pelt around level 115 when you actually need it for dungeons.
Highlander isn’t a PvP oriented class, you have 0 CC, 0 gap closers and 0 mobility. You would probably lose against a barb 3 / doppel in a 1v1 scenario.
yea, that’s what im experiencing now. haha. and somewhat really trying to prove the worth of high3 in pvp. ahmm well if you guys have any suggestions or theories than might help, kindly tell me. im still trying hard making experiments haha.
right now: i have sparring friend a SW1>HL1>Barb3>Dopp2. doing a lot of crazy pvp things haha.
There is a way to defeat a barb3
Depending on how you play and your build, it could work
The main issue here is that barb has stun and doppel has a close range burst
As long as you avoid those two main points and keep landing your hits properly then you should be able to kill barb fairly easily with just raw bleeding and crosscut
Doppel Cyclone can be cancelled by knockback as long as they are not in pain barrier so keep your eyes peeled.

So, I’m currently Sw1>HL1 and where do I get my first 2 hand sword? Also, I was originally planning to get Pelt1 right after but should I instead go straight to HL3 instead?
ohh yis! actually, everytime he will use his cyclone i will counter it by catar stroke (LVL 1) just for knock back (why catar stroke, Range + aoe 5) if misses, Wagon / Bash for cyclone.
hahaha somewhat, the stunlock of barb really you know. once you got caught you’ll never see the sunrise again haha xD (btw, a duel with no dispellers and pots or other external factors.)
but, for everyone in here. Try or have you experienced using Preparation then after that if you used cross cut and landed a bleed kindly observe the DOT of bleed.
with Prep, DOT of Bleed is higher.

If you go with str:con by 3:1 the block rate will be about 1300-1400+
skyliner do double hit and its add extra 50% on bleed target currently it just 1 damaging skill in your rotation if its gonna be like ktos which has 0 cd and faster animation(like no delay at all) then this skill will be your main attack skill
Crown is work IF the enemy have high spr or int but most pvp wiz will go full con so its quite unreliable in pvp and if you can get close to enemy others damaging skill will benefit you more
