The only attacks that are actually weaker than seism are bash, thrust, and pommel strike.
So throw away 660 PA(new warcry) can be turned into 1650 PA with DoV 15 to rely on a utility skill which can be replaced easily?

barb 3 is making ur doppel skills much stronger, rather than just a bunch of r2 skills to spam, barb skills are actually making you stronger.
frenzy 400 attack damage warcry defense debuff cleaveās 50% slash damage etc.

How about Sword3 HL1 Barb1 Dopp3? Iāve been playing around with that idea in mind (Iām a Sword3 HL2 Dopp2 going Dopp3, having no Cleave sucks balls).
you will miss all the goodie in HL and barb (skyline,warcry, etc:)
if you want restrain Sw2 should be enough (its up from 20% to 30% at circle2 so its still can stun lock with cyclone)
SW3 except the restrain and higher pain barrier its provide nothing (concentrate and gungho fall off damn hard)
even Sw2HL2Barb1 would be better
tested, majority of the monsters with 200k-300k hp are not immune to stun.
So seism still has stun uses as of now. I havenāt encountered anything that cannot be stunned yet on pre-300 range.
HL1 is very underwhelming, as most of the good HL skills come from c2 and beyond. Cross Guard and Cartar Stroke are still very strong, but aside from that you just get a low-level Crown, which is nice but not game-changing. Iād rather go Barb2 instead so you can get the Cleave bonus and Warcry.
dont forget about the lost of dps when you try to reach 20 or 10 stack of frenzy every time when your buffs turns off. is really anoying. also warcry in boss fights can only hit 5-6 targets considering boss and traps.

) I found the 50% uptime hard to deal with, so Iām willing to let go of it.
I guess going thin on both HL and barb is not a good idea, huh?
If youāre going to go thin on one of the two, barb is recommended since you at least get the cleave bonuses to give a huge spike to DPS. Otherwise, Cartar Stroke gives far more standalone damage than Barb 1 can offer, and Cross Guard is important for survivability.
If I were you, Iād probably go barb 1 > corsair 1 >dopp so that you can get your cleave bonus in addition to the CC tools and support that corsair provides.
