Hi my build is a1r3flet1. since i feel like i dont want to go fletc3 and was wondering what other option do i have. 
why not continue with your fletchememe path?, is a solid build in general, magic arrow is awesome and you could wait to go Mergen or Hackapell for Rank 8. Mergen being more AoE and Hackapell far more DPS.
just considering any other possibilities hehe. just in case back up plan. since everyones saying that r3 sucks for fletcher.
lol who told you that?, the only problem of Fletcher is how much money you burn crafting arrows, so you must have a good source of money to pay for that (world bossing, good auction house business, or a squire/alchemist/pardoner character). Get that magic arrow.
fletcher C3 pretty strong when you become fletcher C2 you will see different between c1-c2
looklike you worry about R3 is old build.
for A2Scout route they will have more utility. crit rate from shift step/clocking
for R3 route you will have +20% steady aim, spiral arrow, barrage15 for fill your dmg If you worry about crit rate from A2. Your party can fill about this.
but if really don’t want to play fletcher 2-3 then you can use fletcher 1 just for utility. by put point to this skill Broadhead:5 Bodkin Point:1. And then go
Archer2>Falcon > Mergen
Rogue>Falcon > Mergen
Rogue>Archer2 > Mergen/Hakka
Rogue2>Hakka
and etc
it still have a lot of way to go.
maybe your idea will be better than anyone else.

thx @thedojin yea I was having doubt about r3 and I didnt wanna reroll, so I was considering other option than fletc3 that ranger could be useful like let say a1 r3 flet 2 musk 2 and so on but thats just single target. is A2 really that important or does 20% steady aim can cover what not having that a2?
SR2 is still possible alternative, but you’ll have less crit rate compare to the other build that go rogue or archer2 at R5.
A2 not that important.
But A2 will help your increase crit rate a lot. You will see this when you are at high lvl+ fully gear+gem.
ex
if you have 300 crit rate you will get 75 more crit rate. >>> 375 (just a little)
if you have 500 crit rate you will get 125 more crit rate. >>> 625
But if you play full dex or you are with high support party(crit rate boost). You will don’t need to worry about A2 at all. In this case Steady will do better job because you can’t fill this with your party.
and yes just like frontler said if you choose rogue you don’t need to warry about crit at all

will it be good? fletcher 2 > musk 2? coz im leaning my build on this…xD
idk if it will beat fletcher-mergen but it could be good in bursting while sustaining dps cuz of magic arrow and bleed. problem would be aoe since they said crossfire isnt good for aoe and you wont have falcon so no circling.
yeah im aware it wont have aoe, i was planning on using it on pvp too…xD also buttstroke is now good, with the additional damage, so i thought it will match up pretty good.
you need scout tho if your going pvp so a2 r1 sc1 fl2 musk2 would be better
yeah, currently im fletch1 now, a2r1sc1fletch1…xD that’s why im having trouble if id go with fletch3>mergen or fletch2>musk2…xD
haha tell me how it goes when you reach that or just musk1 hows the gameplay or is it fun

yea i dont see any other build that explore something past fletcher2 cuz they said its either feltcher3 or nothing
- For most optimize build A2-R1-SC1-F3
- With R3 you will have low crit without LV 10 Swift Step. Unless spent a lot of money on crit gears + high lv 6 and up green gems.
- Barrage scale really bad when you get to end game
- With R3 you will have to invest more DEX compared to A2 where they can put 100+ into str.
- Without SC1 you won’t be as good in PVP. You also missing out on +5 movement speed and invincibility.
Fletcher 3 is amazing. Although I know some people did F2 then Cannoneer/Musket. I don’t really recommend it though since this is an all or nothing class. Some people take F1 just for Broadhead pvp.
In this scenario the boss is standing still and you are doin 7k damage constantly with each tick (has 5 secs cooldown and 10 secs duration).
Fletcher 2 magic arrow 15 Ticks = 105K
Fletcher 3 magic arrow 25 Ticks = 175K
I would totally go with F3 and go high dex + crit gear to get high enough crit rate then put the rest into str / cons. You will lose to A2 build though if equally geared.

maybe it stronger than fletcher3 because butt stroke attribute boost all missile dmg x2.
But I can’t said it work or not because I didn’t try by myself yet. And our patch still don’t have Musket C2 yet. No way to know right now.
even it work you can’t win other fletcher C3 in WB fight. because that attribute’s a debuff not buff. So other archer will got this advantage too.
Will only boost Musketeer skill damage by 2x.
I cannot calculate fletcher3 & mergen vs fletch2 & musket2.
Oh I see. I thought it’s boost all missile dmg.
