Help with this cannoner build

So, I tried a cannoner build, but without wugushi, since I have a lot of problem with flying types…So I put archer2-ranger1-scout1-Fletcher2-cannoner2.
Why I choose every class…

Archer 2: since I have nothing better to put

Ranger 1: same thing as Archer, but here I can have access to steady aim, so more 10% damage

Scout 1: little AoE damage, debuff(flu-flu), and hiding stuff… and again… Nothing better to put on

Fletcher 2: magic arrow for a little bossing porpoises+broadhead (bleeding)+bodkin arrow (less defense)

Cannoner 2: main reason why I want this kind of build…And I already have the equipment from my SR, except for the cannon…

What you think about this build? It’s worth it? Or you advise another build/class? Thanks in advance

If you go dex crit build, archer2 is mandatory.
Swift step attribute boosts your crit rate by +25%.
Ranger1 provides steady aim buff. This is decent.
Scout is for cloaking. Makes questing easier.

Bodkin defence reduction is not worth for PvE. You won’t notice the effect. Broadhead is a decent DoT.
Fletcher is strongest at fletcher3.

Ground AoE builds are
Arch2 > sapper2 > sapper 3 / x > x> cannon2.
Arch2 > x > wugu3 > cannon2.

Other build I have seen is hunter cannon.
Arch2 > hunter 2 > hunter 3 / x > x > cannon2.

Single target normal attack cannon
QS3 > Arch2 > x > cannon2.

Utility
ranger1 > archer2> scout1 > rogue1 > falcon1 > cannon2.


You need cannon shot 10/10, you will spam this skill on all enemies.
Shootdown 1 + attribute vs flying enemies (shootdown: falling).
Shootdown --> cannon shot.

Lower cannon blast to level 8, get cannon shot 10/10, and shootdown 1.

I was talking to a friend and he said some stuff about wugushi and now I’m considering wugushi again…At that “X” what you advise? What if i put archer 1- ranger 2 in this build, since if i’m not mistaken, wugushi’s poison can’t do a critical hit, right? And one more thing, dex or STR for wugushi? I asked this thing of str or dex because some said that it’s better to go full dex since str doesn’t increse almost nothing… And thanks again for all help

I’ve seen most WuguCannon take Archer3 though that build might get outdated once the rework comes.

QS1 and Hunter1 are good for utility, usually if you like to do PVP as well. Hunter’s Snatching can work on flying bosses.

Ranger1 can add a little more DPS both as buff (10%) and in your rotation (Barrage).

I’m not sure about Sapper1 (Sapper2 is great).

You’ll need to consider how your skill rotation would go as to not make some skills useless or redundant (e.g. why cast X at this time when Y is ready and does more damage)

im also making a cannoner right now and currently its A2R3Rouge1

i just thought of a build that would be easy to lvl up and enjoyable to play since there will be giving out free rank reset later

A2 for swift step crt bonus

ranger3 for max barrage

rouge mainly for feint but sneak is also very helpful to land crt even more

feint+barrage deals around 140k dmg right now that helps me a lot in killing bosses

and with cannoner, this build’s gameplay will be very simple and its just “get close and spam skills”

i would have considered getting fletch2 but i just hate worrying about arrows and i hate those skills that you have to aim with a skill circle, like magic arrow that u will have to spam every 5 sec,i often get bad pings and i usually screw up aiming those kind of skills or take a really long time to aim

your build is very well rounded and got nothing bad to say, i recommend you to get only lvl 1 bodkin arrow and get high lvl barb arrow instead

I see…I hate the fact that, to me, to consider the skill rotation, I need to play with the character to learn…Even if you say: use skill A, then B,… I’ll not understand the reason and I have to try by myself. That’s the main reason why I always ask to someone help me with the build cuz I’ll learn all mechanics by playing…Like SR, I never understand how limacon works…And retreat shot I would never think to use oblique shot+retreat shot in order to allow my speed and be able to hit the mob like if I was near to a wall… But I think I’ll try one of this two builds (archer-ranger2-wugushi3-cannoner2 or archer2-ranger1-wugushi3-cannoner2) I just don’t know if I should make this Archer now or if I should keep leveling up my RS and then reset him… And STR or Dex to this build… But thanks for everything :slight_smile:

You may pick anything but do not pick sapper1.

Choice:
archer3 for longer swift step buff duration.
Ranger1 for steady aim.
Hunter1 if you need some CC. However mind 1 pet = 1 character slot

I have played Arch2 QS1 wugu3 cannon2.
I use qs shield passive because I wear crossbow + shield, and weapon swap slot crossbow + cannon. Pavise is taunt skill, works on all mobs. Caltrop taunts aggressive mobs only. QS1 doesn’t bring any damage though.

If you don’t like to reroll, you should level your SR.
You will get many free resets during iToS balance patch, you may try many builds.

When rework gets implemented, we’ll have a few days of free resets to test out different builds. Should help you decide on which build you’re comfortable with and will enjoy playing the most.

Yeah…I think I’ll keep studying wugushi class and wait till this reset and keep leveling up my SR. I already have another Archer (scout but I didn’t like the low damage…) and I think I’ll delete him and try this builds o saw here just to see if I’m gonna like wugushi and his mechanics. you should not have to worry about that too much since you get shootdown once you hit cannoneer at rank 7

5 seconds cd with an aoe ratio of +5 with the falling attribute at max level thats 11.2 seconds of flying monsters withering in your poison :smiley:

Isn’t [shoot down] + [cannon shot] a hard coded combo though? [shoot down]'s attribute only affects [cannon shot].

I will make a A3>W3>C2 and I also in doubt of STR or DEX, can somone help me?
