Help with a A2/QS3 build

Hello, and thanks if you’re reading this. This is my very first character here in ToS, and I’d like not to be too gimped with my build. This is what I went for so far:

(planning to max out Multi Shot, Swift Step and Kneeling Shot)

Equip:

-+5 Grand Cross with two lv.4 green gems (only one is roasted, at the beginning I didn’t know about this possibility)

-Arde Dagger

-+ 4 Cafrisun Set

-Bearkaras Bracelet

-Zachariel Bangle

-Necklace of Sloth

Stats:

STR 3: DEX 2: CON 1

What I’d like to know is:

  • Which classes do I pick for Ranks 6 and 7?
  • What equips should I gather to upgrade my character, and for endgame?
  • What are my endgame possibilities? Is this character gimped in late game?

You have a few choices for R6/7:

-Scout 1 for defensive reasons
-Falconer 1 for circling (aoe support)
-Ranger 1 for steady aim (+10% damage)
-Wugushi 1 for extra dps
-SR 2 for retreat shot 10 and a mount to ride (one trick pony)
-Musketeer 1 for burst
-Canonneer for aoe and some burst

People tend to go falconer 1 with canoneer/musketeer.

For gear:

You will eventually want to get sissel bracelets and a max pentamion. Some peope say to get certain pieces of roxona armors, though I would go for virtov gloves and boots. Top and bottoms are up for grabs.

I hear people say that you want manamana pistol, and some xbow that I can’t recall. You will most likely be stuck with Didel Grand Cross since you are a QS.

(Though at the very end you should be aiming for lolopanther stuff)

However, these things are more late/endgame. For other things like leveling purposes and for getting those pieces, someone else has to answer that.

As for endgame:

The “current” endgame has a strong focus on mobbing, and for your character, I don’t see you being the best, but you won’t be the worse either.

Thanks for your answer, it’s really helpful. As I thought, it’s a quite “mediocre” build after all, but I don’t want to throw away this character either! I guess I will go for some stronger stuff on an alt.

I am with the same dilema as you… i think i will go falc/cannon path…

Reilet, if we choose FALC / CANNON what i have to focus at stats ?

Consider i have already 200 STR , 115 DEX and 30 CON… i have seen ppl sayin CANNON works better with DEX… but, if i have already 200 STR, its still viable to go falc/cannon ?

Tbh, you can reach +70% crit rate without any DEX

And yes, you will be fine going that path with your stats.

Nice, but what do u suggest to invest now ? Only dex ? i mean… at 280 i shoud have 2:1 ? (str:dex)

With proper gearing. Only really need 100~200 points into dex.

I have just hit R7 with my A2 - QS3 and I picked Falc - Canon for R6 and R7

3STR : 1DEX build

Use Grand Cross + Arde and Cafisun Set until 220

In order of priority.

1.Replace Arde with Manamana as soon as you can afford it.
2.Replace Grand Cross(if you can +13 it I think its possible to continue using it) with Superior Kracked Shooter at 220, I only kept my Grand Cross for weapon swapping when casting RS since im not lagging.
3.Wear Superior Bandit Amor/Pants at 220 since monster hit really hard after level 210. Wear Roxona/Vubbe Glove and Roxona Boots
4. Wear Max Peta for Magic DEF.
5. Budget option for Bracelets are Glass Bracelets if not get Sissels.

Personally, I think this build is a top 3 Archers builds for PVE.

Nice… im going in that path too… picked falc yesterday.

Just a question, at 280 LVL how the status should be ? for example, 200 str and 70 dex ?

I’m going for 3STR:1DEX until 280 since in the end we will still be auto attacking a lot. Add Con as and when you deem fit.

Im the Same A2 QS3 im not sure what circle to take before musket…

My current stats are like this…

im squishy but im not gettin oneshoot most of the time.

my shoots with kneeling/Swift/running shot hit like 2k+ per hit, feels so satisfying.
