I am about to start to play on May 10. I’m thinking of choosing the Archer C1 -> Ranger C3 -> Fletcher C3 path, but I hear that FLs are mana-hungry. Is it advisable to choose this path for a new player? If not, would Archer C3 -> Scout C3 -> Musketeer be a better choice?
Archer 3 sc3 musket is a lot harder to lvling than ranger3 fletcher, until you reach scout3 most of skills you use are from archer 3.
I think lower class between archer ranger and QS, ranger is most friendly to people who aren’t familiar with archer.

Become Ranger/Fletcher especially since you’re a new player, because you will level up fast with barrage early on and then your best low CD skills in fletcher.
Don’t worry about the SP consumption, you will make more money in due time because you will be chilling at world boss as fletcher. Just get SP recovery hair costume for early game SP.
If you’re new and wanna play this game on easy mode; make a Ranger/Fletcher.
A2-R2-F3 or A1-R3-F3 or replace R2 or F3 with any other archer class and you still can’t mess up this build.

Yea this is pretty much the standard barrage is so easy to level up with while questing and while SP hungry you will get used to it , don’t be afraid if you want to go ranger 2 , Archer c2 either like killer whale said it’s really up to you because Fletcher 3 is so rediculously good.

No. Archers at pvp (decent ones) usually consist of:
ARCHER2 -> swift step for 25 % crit + heavy shot to get melee’s off you
SCOUT1-> cloaking
CANNON/MUSKET-> cannon being better because it’s easier to hit its burst besides being instant
The rest is kinda of optional, but I would grab something that scales with dex, to go alongside your rank 7.
