Help-me please, Wugushi 2 or Sapper?

Hello Guys,

My current build is Archer > QS 3 (going to Musketeer at rank 7, probably). So… i don’t have any AoE for later griding and dungeons, so i feel completly useless.

Should i take Sapper 2 or Wugushi 2 before go musketeer to “fill” the lack of AoE ?

Thanks Guys.

The difference between Wugushi 2 and Sapper 2;

Wugushi 2 - Small AoE with pot, but has poison pot mechanic to save you weight/space. Poison pot mechanic means you either have to buy poison from the Master or get insect mob drops, and store it in the Poison pot to be used later. 1 poison from the Master costs 800 silver and fills up to 400 poison pot poison. You use 8 for the AoE. Majority of skills are useful.

Sapper 2 - Larger AoE with Broom Trap, but everything else is quite bad. Takes up quite a bit of space/weight since 1 Broom Trap = 3 Ash Wood. 1 Wood = 1 Weight and the Sapper Master is a dork who doesn’t stock the right wood.

Take Wugushi if you like Poison or if you feel like you need more skills that will attack bosses while you run around. Otherwise, Sapper 2 for the larger AoE that has consistent damage. (In CBT2, the damage is spread evenly among the mobs in the AoE. So, more mobs hit = less damage per tick. Could have been changed but unlikely.)

So… Broom trap hit less if have more mobs ? Well… i think isn’t worth going sapper 2 if only broom trap works good… as Wugushi i can use the single and the AoE poison…

About the poison, the damage is the same doesn’t matter how many mobs are hited, right ?

And Thanks A Lot Mooon for your attention, even with my bad english.

Pfft. I’m so sorry for essay-ing on the forums while writing my uni assignments. The Wugushi AoE spreads the damage, the Broom Trap doesn’t. >.< I’m so sorry.

So… Sapper seems better for AoE i guess… D:

Remind you another thing broom trap hit only ground enemies
At your level broom trap won’t do much dmg(compare to when you got it at C4 or C5) if you don’t lvled dmg attribute

Both AoEs only hit ground enemies. The only AoE that doesn’t would be Ranger’s Barrage…Isn’t it?

Keep in mind that Wugushi C2 not only brings this new AoE but also improves each existing skill by 5 seconds. 5 seconds = 10 ticks. Each tick scales with your atack.
Wugushi C2 also lowers ur general poison pot cost with an attribute.

I would go all for Wugushi in this simple comparison, but your build will need crit and poison don’t crit, so… You can instead go for sapper and leave this Wugushi C1 to help in bosses and dungeons.

PS: remember Wugong gu is a multitarget skill that hits flying monsters and works wonders in dungeons. It even get benefited by bow mastery.

Thank you all guys.

I think i’ll keep with wugushi, becouse od AoE and some single skills too, sapper will only give me broom trap, so wugushi seems a little better.
