Help deciding classes around Wugushi PvE

Want:
PvE Wugushi with good synergy on the classes before and after

Builds considered:

A1 >QS3 >Wugu3> Mergen

A2 >R1 >Wugu3> Fa1> Mergen

A2 >R1 >Wugu2> Fa1> C2

A2 >R1 >Wugu2> Fa3

I don’t mind giving a try to other classes outside the ones listed.

I do wish to be helpful in parties, but more on instances than in the overworld.

Stats:
Considered Full STR, Full Dex or a ratio (I don’t know what that ratio would be). With of course the mandatory 30>60 CON to avoid getting one-shotted.

Would greatly appreciate any light on this particular choice, I’ve read many threads but I can’t decide.

Is this with the intention of being the top with bosses? If not, you should definitely go with this build…

A2>H1>Wu3>Fl1 or H2>Mergen

Falconer alternative
A1>R2>Wu3>F1>Mergen

No particular intention to be top on bosses, I doubt it can beat Fletcher 3, but if it could I’d take it haha.

Which stats would you recommend? I do like what you’re recommending.

Your full str can do. I went more around 400 str and equal con and dex (to avoid having simple accidents) which comes out to around 160 con/dex. This assumes you’re using a max petamion.

I see! Then most equipment and gems would be geared at critical chance for other classes? Or is enhancing physical attack prefered?

You kinda can join the ftecher master race: archer 2 --> X (ranger/hunter) --> wugu 2-> fletcher 3, likely highest archer dps on bosses without giving up too much of aoe potential with throw gu pot and wugong gu.

And besides, I personally don’t think any of the rak 8 classes really fit with neither wugu nor fletcher anyway.

You’ll be surprised in the somewhat useless skill they call Parthian Shaft. If you’re being chased and just want to throw down some gu pots or jincan gu. You use that to buy yourself that 1 second.

I can be Wugu AND Fletcher? That sounds interesting as well…

I have played wugu2 in dungeons, it’s more helpful than class descriptions let on.

I never even considered hunter, and I always did want to go there, but most of the time I heard stuff about the pet breaking all the time and the AI being dumb.

I’ve also heard it was recently fixed/nerfed?

What I dont know is what hunter brings to the table, could you be more elaborate if that’s okay?

If I hadn’t invested so much on mergen attributes already i’d probably have reseted to that build myself. I’d love to see immobile enemies due to the sheer number of damage ticks going on lol.

Thing is, hunter adds snatching and coarsing for easy wugong gu posion spreading against mobs (or flying bosses) as well as a lot fo pvp viability. besides, snatching damage is extremely high with a 2h bow against flying enemies. The fix is about Pet AI not being too dumb anymore and actually being more responsive to the lock skills (coarsing, snatchign and retrieve), while the nerf simply means you can’t do any of the lock skills nd spam rush dog at the same time.

With fletcher build though, ranger might help out more since you don’t have much free time for casting extra skills (rush dog), so just steady aim and poisons every 20 seconds and focus on fletcher skills.

Thank you very much!

Now that I understand it, I think I know which one fits my playstyle better.

This was like my 4th Wugu re-roll and I wanted to be really sure this time.

archer > ranger > archer > wugu3 > fal/rogue > mer

fal - aoe mergen, aoe best friend
rogue - feint+barrage, make u cri more, capture arrow sprinkle

You might wanna hold off on wug2. Ktos has new [jincan gu]. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AV3a6qzApf8

hunter 1 really works well with wugu. I’ve started one few weeks ago. I’m just waiting for future buffs. Coursing probably the best to spread wugong gu so you can instantly focus on other skills or go kneeling shot right away. Snatching so you can hit flying mobs/boss with gu pot.
