I’d probably say doppel if you took hoplite instead of barb on rank 3-4

But yes, it’s really hard and really up to you in the end if you want to deal more pierce or slash, because taking barb balances out your lack strong of slash types

are you really sure you want squire on that though? if you play on telsiai there’s a really cheap squire C3 repair. I spend only about 16k from his repairs.

Highlander makes your fencer more elegant compared to barb, lol

and btw i suggest maxing lunge over coquille

I’m not caring much about the class on rank 5.
Maybe I’ll get Corsair for the flag and Dust Devil.

And I don’t know why I saved with max Coquille, it should be Lunge anyway.

Yeah, I was thinking that it was strange how a barbarian could turn into a high refined duelist.

Since I’m going with Highlander, should I use a build with less DEX for easy blocks with Cross Guard?
If yes, which ratio?

that’s a hard call because fencers need dex as an evasive class while you need less evasion for cross guard, you can go with a high str and low dex fencer but I cannot guarantee anything, it might be better for you to stay on a high dex fencer and use cross guard occasionally because monsters will still hit you from time to time.

and if you haven’t done it yet manually switching weapons can be a pain with ping/fps spikes

not the best idea since highlander falls off anyways and is known for his skyliner combo.
I actually see no use in highlander 3 except for a better skyliner( not that great in ITos)

Your build is basically the same as mine, highlander version tho, lol

I’ll just give you one last warning as a soloist, bash and dust devil will be your only form of CC there soloing vs mage maps(like Ibre Plateau) I’ve got barb so I can kill 3 stacked mage monsters unscathed.

also you can take 2 highlanders first to ease your leveling, peltasta comes in useful after that

ah y’all have 2 CC while my pelt 2 rode 2 fencer 2 has bash, umbo ( RNG stun but has a knockdown) Montano, Targe smash ( knockdown and/or blind) shield charge, and shield shoving.

Build focuses on being a dodge tank and no early game damage, mostly CC and Magic block.

While having an arsenal of CCs, it’s not really a good solo build, all those you have to throw just to kill monsters, lol

But yes, it’s the best mage tank+having physical defenses so far for a fencer

and so far, only dust devil has the perfect cc where no mobs can resist it except bosses, there are stun immune mobs+knockback/down immune mobs too.

never liked soloing. that’s why i like the build because hardly any game has fencer and i like an arsenal of CC and good damage; pretty much every tank in league of legends (RIP 2009-2016)

Hi again.

I’m trying Barbarian now and I need some help.

Should I go C3 for Pouncing or get something else before Fencer?

Actual build:
Sword C1> Peltasta C1> Barbarian C2

EDIT:
And about Frenzy. Is it good for Fencer? I’m trying to avoid it, because I don’t know if it is worth.

Barb C3 frenzy is good with the attribute, but still not the best of you’re taking fencer c2, you’ll be using it only when you’re almost out of sp and pots are on cooldown.

Pouncing is like a weaker version of cyclone with terrible cooldown, it has uses but is usually a 1-point wonder.

Warcry and Frenzy are the main things to get on Barb C3 because of C3 attributes.

You can manage without taking squire and just get their repairs on towns, so you could go with corsair to fill the missing spot.

Flag will help you with material/recipe hunting and dust devil will give you more cc.
