Hakkapalle Class Synergy Discussion

I think they should make it so you dont need to be mounted to use all of hackapelle skills. This would open up more options. Most the skills dont make any sense to be restricted this way other than the charge skill. They should make others usable while not mounted.

man that looks underwhelming lol. For all the stuff I hear about Mergen not being that great, I’m wondering if it’s still a batter option than Hakka for fletcher…idk

Hakkapalle is already in a bad spot making you fight as swordsman. the risk of going inside the number of mobs your fighting should be rewarding

i m thinking about

A1>QS3>Wugu3>Hackapell
or
A1>QS3>Fletcher3>Hackapell
or
A1>QS3>Rogue1/A2>Hackapell

I m not picking Ranger becoz

  1. Already have a Ranger >Cannoneer in my lobby
  2. Steady Aim work only on missle, while only Leg Shot is missle attack

what Hackapell lack is AOE going Fletcher 3 give you spammable AOE but Fletcher lacking some skill to rapidly stack the debuff, i m not sure Barrage could stack or not, so might be Ranger 3 would be a better combination with Fletcher 3

going Wugushi, in order to compete you have to go all the way to Wugushi 3, unless you never meet another Wugushi in dung or WB, Wugushi compensate the lack of AOEin hackapell, but Throw Gu Pot have a CD of 35s i feel it is rather long, and same issuse as Fletcher3 lacking skill to quickly build up the debuff, furthermore, Throw Gu Pot and C3 skill cannon be use while mount

I m more keen to SR>Hackapell atm, becoz

  1. I really dont enjoy Fletcher play style
  2. I dont like Fletcher costume

going SR Concentrated Fire can stack up the debuff for burst, having Rouge i can invest as little DEX as i want and more in CON for hackapell close combat survivability, and I could use leg shot the only CC hackapell provide
but the issues are Assault Fire is too good to be miss, going SR meaning long CD on AOE, 40s on retreat shot, and i m blinding myself to xbox 1h sword and xbox pistol only, i could no longer easily switch to 2h bow for flying mob

i m not very keen on taking falconer,
Falconer + Hackapell mean 3 character slots
circling have 35s CD on 10s use, while hackapell mainly use melee, and the hit box are pathetic, circling does not boss AOE ratio, but reduce AOE defence
using circling in hackapell i can see it will be more miserable than ciricling + Snipe

the limitation of the mount and skills is what makes hackapalle so hard to theorycraft right now…

I’m currently sitting with Qs3 > A2

ROGUE 1/2 - Sneakhit and Backstab (c2) are the only skill that works with hacka
SR2 - Good burst and stacking of missiles for hacka sword combo, but taking SR2 and not advancing to SR3 might hurt the build and you might possibly regret it later? (advance fire and Retreatshot 15 is too good to exchange for the circle1 hacka)
FALCONER 1/2 - err sword hitbox is meh to make full use of circling
FLETCHER - is the most compatible but not fun to play IMO
WUGUSHI - must be wugu3 to atleast be good with the high HP mobs. have problems with other wugus. throw gu pot dont work while mounted

scout,hunter,sapper - doesnt really work with mount
*if you dont have issue mounting and unmounting then you can play practically any class with hacka

I’d like to comment that falconer 3 is the amazing one.
Falconer 2 is falconer 1 plus ah that one skill the one that does like 7k damage with my current build every 45 seconds, oh yeah. sonic strike.

That one new 30% of blinding with sonic strike was not designed with using sonic strike manually in mind, it was for the auto triggered one.

Anyway, my point is: either invest fully into falconer or don’t. there’s probably something better out there.

this. going falconer 3 might be painful to think but you might be much use as a support in group play with your falcon.

also going for the circle3 of either SR or Falcon will make for an open R9 class

Anyway, as this is a hackapalle thread. I would like to also add that hackapalle might possibly have a skill with 0cd no overheat at later ranks called Bombardment that might provide range AOE skill that might work with falconer’s circling

check this out and compare the details of oblique shot, stone shot, and other spammable fletcher skills

Yes, the Bombardment will be implemented sometime. However I believe it is a cannon3 skill…

Can backstab on mount?

Backstab is updated to work with sword + crossbow.

CanNOT backstab from mount.

yeah makes more sense that it’s a cannoneer skill. but it says hakka here tho…

yeah works with sword now but pretty redundant if it doesn’t work on mount.
the only way rouge2 + hakka would work is if you can use backstab with mount or better yet, be able to use all hakka skills without mount except the mount charge. otherwise, you need to play mount and unmount for this to work.

Ideal Hackapell synergy

I can only comment on the hunter bit and only ask, why?
Snatching only works on flying type.
Praise is useless, it does just what it says. add 45+ damage to the pet no more no less at its maximum rank. at lvl 1 you could reap the benefits of faster moving speed but I doubt this carries over while you’re riding.

Pointing I’ve no idea on how it works.
Rush dog, well at lvl 5 it would deal more damage but at lvl 1 I believe you could benefit from the 40% stun chance.

This class can only become viable if they make the weaponry more acessible.

I have two C3 on my build and i already carry 4 different weapons.

Imagine the people who got Quarrel and/or an R7 class…if they get Hakka they will have to carry almost the entire possible armory for Archer to use all skills.

Well at R3, I have a choice of A2, R2, or Sapper 1.

A2: Swift Step and higher MS I feel is not worth it as Rogue can provide better crit. Higher MS is meh…

R2: higher Barrage and Steady Aim is neglectable.

Sapper 1: only good if I go Sapper 2. Sapper 1 is meh…

But with Hunter, at least Snatching is good as there are more than a few flying bosses in the game. Snatching would melt them away + bleeding effect for backstab as well

Praise is just additional pet stat… don’t know where to put it.

Pointing is to fix pet AI when they become dumb…

Rush Dog 1 because I just like the stun chance…

I only care about Snatching in Hunter circle…

I don’t think you can use hunter skills while riding a companion. anyway, are you aware of the prominent targeting issues asociated with companions? Not something really enjoyable and this could quickly turn your precise plan when facing a boss into dust and have to fall to your repertoir of other skills. so I guess there wouldn’t be so many problems.

Like I said, I only care about Snatching (i know it’s situational but there’s nothing else I care about @ R3).

Coursing and Snatching are only situational anyway…
