GvG Ground Control

So, I’m guessing a lot of people are pretty hyped for the ranked GvG and I’m trying to decide on which path to take. I’m an avid fan of Scout, but I abandoned the idea of going C3 since I fell I’d be missing out utility wise.
These are the 2 builds I’m trying to decide between:

Pros: Able to destroy World Tree Statue protecting parties/guild towers and amazing ground control with caltrops, pavise, detonate trap, traps and capture. Single target CC via Stone Shot

Pros: The best skirmisher out of the 2. Swift step lvl 10 for attribute cirt chance and party wide evasion buff, heavy shot is huge in 1V1 and keeping people out of position, be it pushing him into a corner or away from magic circles, very good against clerics from what I’ve read/seen. Detonate trap+lvl 10 capture for GC and sneak hit, evasion and lachrymator for skirmishes.

Not totally sure how prevalent world tree and diev 2/3 is going to be, but if anyone knows how many hits does it take to take down a Diev statue (except owl) without teardown, I’d appreciate the info!

second build -
Leave capture at lvl1/10
it does nothing lvling it up lol
also you wanna get Feint maxed over sneak hit(leave it at lvl5) because you will face so many swordman/archer with high evasion, and you can use feint while you are invisible and you won’t be reveal
get backstab because you can stun with it if you crit(60% crit chance at lvl5)
max punji stake over claymore, iirc you can prepare traps while you stealth without being revealed
imo i prefer sapper c2 over rogue c2, you have more ground power control, with double broom trap
