Hey guys names Gurzy. I’m a concept artist in the video game industry.

Purpose of this thread:
Always loved Maggi’s work among others and want to incorporate some aesthetic she applies to her art with my own. I’m using this thread to explore and learn from how Maggi draws and other artists that have come to influence me as of late and transfuse some western appeal with oriental flair as the ultimate goal of what I’m trying to achieve

Ooh yes that one! Yes, I studied one of her drawings Liked how she used the zippers and clothes to really help with the flow of the piece ^ ^

i was wondering a bit why exactly this one drawing seemed a bit off from all your other ones and why its so similiar to what would maggi do, but now its all explained especially these kind of sketchy dabbs next to the lines.
once i’ve tried to mimic her style a little bit with one of my sketches but i failed miserably
