Gungho with percentage values would be really good

points at Cleric, Wizard and Archer classes selfbuffs…

check their buffs and then punch yourself in face after you realize how stupid you are.

If they want to “balance” Swordsman buffs then they should start from other classes and nerf the ■■■■ out of their buffs.

I don’t agree with playing the nerf game unless a certain skill is extremely broken OP. Buffs are always the way to go. Wiz, archers, and clerics get to keep their fun, while swordies find more joy. Everyone wins, everyone’s happy. Plus the game has so many more levels planned, nerfing skills just for the sake of it will do more harm then good.

I don’t think it is very extreme when according to how the provoke attribute functions there are a lot of DPS classes that can do at LEAST 501% more damage (and consistently) than end game swordsmen

If Guardian gets tweaked, Gung-ho should too, proportionally. They both, are skills that counter each other.

It would help other classes that are not popular like Hoplite, Rodelero, Squire to be a little bit more useful damage-wise.

You’re just comparing ranks, it doesn’t mean that a higher class must be better than the lower one. In fact, they both have the same effect, same cooldown, same description and they can’t be used at the same time.

I never quoted OP or agreed with him, i simply said it should be equal.

My definition of proportional would then be the exact same thing as guardian but reversed - +63% attack and -35% def and it really wouldn’t be anywhere near overpowered and still likely wouldn’t be enough to even compare even slightly to other DPS classes.

But guess we’re supposed to be confined to tanking anyway!

They’ve got better all around survival and safer choices in tanking too.

I agree with you, I already posted at the top that 50% is not right since that’s what you get at Dop1, 5 ranks higher. What I don’t agree with is nerfing other classes to just to make swordies feel less crappy. Games are more fun when everyone is strong, instead of everyone being weak.

Tbh 50% with 10% def loss is still weak. Quick cast still better

The different of Quick cast, steady aim, DOV, gungho if they buff like TS want

  1. DOV have downside, others two not
  2. DOV need to stack, others two not
  3. DOV only affect your phy atk, those two whole damage ? CMIIW
  4. DOV and steady aim not permanent buff coz if you recast DOV you need restack, Quick cast a PERMANENT 50% bonus
  5. DOV and steady aim only need for 1 circle to get, Quick cast need 3

But Swordman have debuff for 50% boost for each type of their attack

Likely gungho maybe won’t get buff percentage phy atk coz DOV already have this
neither crit rate coz crit is an archer type
Crit attack maybe ?

If level 5 gungho change to 10% phy atk not a huge change coz current gungho is +70 phy atk at level 5 with max attribute
how max phy atk can you have at level 280? 1.4k ? so 10% only +140 no big deal only +70 from current gungho
but at level 15 maybe different story

This change is not what i want i have 0 points in gungho , just stating it like i see it.

15~20% in increase damage will be good.
I’m thinking if DOV will hit lv 15 and let us with negative defense will not be so different from bushin received damage. Get hit for a boss or 1 mob with max DOV stacked is nothing, but get hit by a group of 5 or more mobs and you will see how it hurts.

With gung ho an increase in damage will be better than increase (50%) in PA since can be stacked with DOV and hit a big discrepancy.
