Gungho with percentage values would be really good

50% attack increase, 10% defense decrease.

It’s pretty much on the table I guess unless IMC hates swordsman and does it for guardian and not for gungho somehow.

I like your style, however that would make it far and away better than DoV lv5 which is 5 ranks higher. Wouldn’t make too much sense but something along those lines would be nice.

How about we go in another direction and have it buff crit rate % since we don’t have enough of those as swordies and we’re getting plenty of physical attack buffs. So 15% chance to critical hit at lv15, leave the attribute as is or change to +50 crit rate at max. Now that sounds gung ho to me.

Should we even get a 10% defense decrease? It seems like swordsman is the only class path that actually has detrimental effects for their already prety bad buffs

As long as the gain is worthwhile then I’m all for it. The name is Gung Ho after all so some sort of drawback makes sense.

Personally i would say it is just a matter of time before this happens. Maybe the next patch even.

Sword 3 will be really good, for PvE even.

At rank 1 is 20% tho, at rank 3 50% is in line with current balancing of other classes.

Because quick cast is at 50% without any penalties and guardian also just turned flat numbers into percentages.

Remember gungho and guardian overwrite each other and share similar mechanics.

They turned the flat numbers into percentages. Literally. It is 35% increased defense at max lvl.

Lv 15 guardian will be +35% def and -63% attack

well steady aims problem is they multiply the whole number just like quick cast, gungho prob work like deeds which only affect your phys atk.

I just had an idea at first but now i am more and more convinced of it.

Doing it any other way simply doesnt make sense.

I have no ■■■■■■■ clue why every buff in Swordsman tree have some negative effect or limitation … why every other class get tons of buffs that don’t harm/cripple them in any way

Ur argument is basically that the numbers dont make sense. My argument is that the numbers are just being converted as they did with guardian.

If they went with your line of reasoning they would have scaled guardian differently. But they did not.

I am not saying my way is the best. I am saying it is the IMC way. Not that i agree with their approach to balancing.
