Wugushi3 is strong because your poison duration (needle blow, wugong gu) is equal to the cooldown, you have 100% poison time (on high Hp mobs, and on boss).
Disadvantage: you won’t benefit from Pass (chronomancer) since your poison is already applied without down-time.
I’m curious, Wugushi poisons scale with physical damage but is it only from your main P.atk or does your secondary p.atk also add to the wugushi poison ticks?
EDIT: did some testing on my own and secondary p.atk doesn’t seem to apply to poison ticks.
Hi it’s me again asking for build because r8 is out…
People keep saying wugu should go mergen, but I don’t want to because my r3>f3 is going mergen (I don’t care if this build sucks or not)
atm i’m at a1>qs3
my original plan was a1>qs3>wugu2>canon
but since canon 2 doesn’t look so good (at least for me),
should i just abandon wugu2>canon and go for wugu1>sr3 instead?
what do you guys think?
tbh i like wugu’s gu pot, but I can’t go wugu2>sr3, because sr3 forward shot (?) is also very tempting haha
what do you guys think? any advice are welcome…
just an addition : i don’t want to take any circle from scout, falcon, and rogue (I still can consider rogue if you guys give me good reason to go rogue)
Thanks!
More specifically secondary weapon Physical attack only applies to specific skills which make use of said weapon (say rogue’s backstab using dagger’s/sword’s patck, SR’s pistol skills makign use of pistol’s etc.)
Now if any piece of equipment (be it any armor piece, headpiece, accessory, primary or secundary weapon) gives elemental/size property damage, that part will be applied to every line of damage you do, no matter which source.
Personally I think Hackapell’s actually are the best compliment to that Qs3-Wugu 3 kinda build. Something like this:
http://www.tosbase.com/tools/skill-simulator/build/jaac06i05l/
Getting hackapell seems to be the best way to improve into your specialty, which is doing fast paced and continuous damage to elites/bosses (or a small group of close mobs as well - especially if linked together).
Running shot makes it easy to stack arrows for your sword skills to do extra lines of damage (still in debate if extra hits or just additional damage shwon as fake multihits). Poisons keep ticking for crazy damage on level 15 skills. And additionaly, you get youself some good mobility, and some additional high damage skills (main ones on 2 overheats and 18-20 CD only).
I don’t think any other choice at R8 would make the Qs3-Wugu3 route better. Mergen’s skills seem to help out on the AoE department, but I gotta say i’m not too impresed by them. Damage ain’t that high, low number of hits in general and CDs don’t help either.
If you wanna go for a more single target and AoE balanced build, I guess A1-> QS3-> A2/Rog1->SR3 would fit better. Wouldn’t have the strongest damage on SR3 skills without steady aim to support it, but you’d get some better single target damage instead.
What If I get my 2H Bow up to +10 for example my poison is gonna deal more damage?
Hakka sword skill skarphugging (unsure about the other one) get +10% T1 modifier for each arrow. Fake multihit. Displayed Hit count increases by 1 for every two arrows.
@byon_lee
There is always musket 2… But it means you don’t have good aoe.
@Harumi
Higher enhanced weapon = higher p-atk = higher poison ticks.
So yes, getting your weapon to +10 would mean your poisons get stronger as well.
I have a few questions:
-
What would be the best accessory for Wugushi? Glad band or Sissel?
-
Does the card level have any effects on Throw Pot Gu?
-
What gems should I be using in my equips?
-
Would Musketeer work for my build?
Currently level 202 A2/Sapper2/Wugu2/ with 422 Str and 60 con
Thanks in advance!
What I do wonder now is if glass mole card effect will snapshot on Needle Blow. Like if I activated glass mole before I cast needle blow, that will probably make a huge boost on my needle blow considering high level transcendence on a high refined two-handed bow throughout the whole needle blow’s duration even if glass mole card effect wears off.
This is like an old test:
I have a Lv 10 Glass mole card so I decided to run some tests with it… here’s the vid
Tree of savior Wugushi Needle Blow w/ Lv10 Glass mole Card
Here’s what I found out:
-
Glass mole card’s effect stays for the entire duration of Needle blow, even if the buff runs out.
-
Activating Glass mole card’s effect after casting Needle blow won’t increase it’s damage.
Hope this helps!
Advantage: You got a lot of bugs. Yes, bugs is love.
I try to understand how it work, because bug is seem to have damage base on current health. I saw they rip off 40k HP mob almost same as 3k HP mob. Or may be i dont have enough bugs.
Is it worth some DEX in this build: A2 > Sapper 2 > WUGU3 > Mergen?
I am currently at Lv. 251 and I don’t know exactly how much points I spent so far but I have about 512 STR. I wear Max Petamion and a Gladiator Band, so obviously it gets higher but in general what would you suggest?
I’ve seen a topic talking about it and I actually didn’t get it that well.
That guy is explanning something like having high STR and also DEX. He gave some examples where we get some Green Gems at Lv. 6, Ellaganos Card and something to get higher DEX points.
In other words, high crit for Broom Trap and high damage for poison.
Hmm… Mergen alone would be a good enough reason for some sort of DEX investment.
I would probably try to get somewhere close to 80 statted DEX (about 150 ish) at level 280 and focus on crit rate gear, and maybe 100 statted DEX (about 200 on stat page) at level 330.
This gives roughly 50% crit rate against a monster with 200 crit resist with full crit rate focused gear with ss and quicken. (about 90% crit rate against 0 crit resist)
This doesn’t take into account of card bonus or hat stats… (because I personally would prefer the hp/con cards, and hats are rng)
Good to know.
I’ll try some posibilities to see how it goes!
Thank you.
That’s a very AoE heavy build.
Hope to see you reach lvl 280 soon!
Hello my friend! I hope to reach Lv. 280 soon then I’ll be able to enjoy Mergen sonner than I thought.
Do you have any great 2H Bow in mind once reaching higher levels?
Maga Bow?
That one? Do you know if there’s a new bow coming out soon?
See you around!
The cheapest high damage bow is Light Gorithos (recipe drop from dungeon cube 190, and cube dungeon 200). You can farm the Ore material at fedimian mission - crystal mine. Terranium from saalus.
Marksman is quite rare, it drops from Mirtis worldboss.
LOL! I’ve never heard about that Lv. 220 bow. Well, that’s a good choice for now.
Between Light Gorithos and Maga Bow, what would you recommend?
Would Light Gorithos deal more damage than Viper?
Well, that last video about new weapons that can be gotten at new dungeon seem to be the best for now, I’ll be waiting for it. I don’t want to spend a lot of silver to upgrade a weapon when I’ll actually leave it once the new ones come out.
I recommend Light Gorithos.
Then upgrade to new weapons (rank 8).
Viper is better vs earth element & ghost armour, such as the siaulai boss Golem and Tree (earth) or Necroventer, Chapparition, Dullahan (ghost armour).
If you are not lvl 220 yet, you could use rogue bow +4/+5 (high damage) at level 170 until 220.
Ok! Gonna try to get it.
Catch you later!
