tbh, Iām not entirely sure what the evasion formula is.
They do talk about it here, and I also use vyneās evasion formula since itās by far the most accurate to date.
Which is: (DefenderEvasion - AttackerAccuracy) / ((0.3605 * DefenderLevel + 18.64) * (Attackerlevel ^ 0.335))
There was a reddit thread that had some people discussing about a different crit/evade/block formula, but I canāt find it.
Manā¦ cleave dont give critical atackā¦ cleave gives 50 critical rateā¦ and bonus 50% for slash skillsā¦ but nothing about critical damage.

Aki, once i respect you for keep encouraging ppl to play swordsman (especially with dps build / non pelt). Its true, FOR NOW str build damage are more superior than dex build in terms of damage, bc we got no high damage weapon, so str build will overcome that limitation on weapon damage.
Each build no matter dex/str/mix got its own pros and cons, not all players here got baby sitted like you. (got healer), back there when you said dex dopp is trash, its like when ppls said sw with no pelt is trash.
You need to learn to respect other ppls decision with their build.
it does. that new weapon with +15 and trans stage4 will yield 2k dmg.
balanced str/dex is at best i guess. if you invest little to no str/dex, it has lower dmg output.

Whatās the Difference? you just spent all your Stat into something we have. and that 850 STR wonāt bring you anymore, anywhere. no more.
(But really, iām still hoping IMC will revamp this shitty mechanic they made for STR)
im a man of STR, but this isnāt just the game. not the mechanics of it.
Well that 850 STR does provide 255 damage from the 30% bonus, which is more than what a +15 Vienie Twin Blade provides, and DoV 15 will boost all of that nicely as well. Not saying STR>DEX, Iām still impartial to all this as Iāve done both and like both. Just stating some facts that you either forgot to mention or conveniently left out, because STR does has some good stuff going for it too.
The main problem with full/almost str you need a personal cleric for yourself. A professional cleric or 2 clerics to hold your hand so you will not kiss the floor everytime. You will take damage 98% of time.
yes i did intentionally left it out, i was about to mention STR in general (for all class), but yea, thanks for pointing it out regarding +30% bonus for Swordies. which isnāt gonna change anything in the near future, or even worth having.
weāre just halfway there, knowing that max level is 600. and look at those items. theyāre killing STR based player already.
Again, until, or unless the mechanics on how STR works, this STAT will be next to nothing.
STR will be for block penetrationā¦as we get higher and higher content, players and monstersā CON will be higher so STR will still be needed otherwise u get blocked to death

Out of 100 monsters, how many of them are capable of Blocking? not even 10 of emā¦

you just said Higher content, which means requiring a party is a must. unless you want to run a 5man swordsman party. which isnāt gonna happen, requiring atleast 1 mage to deal on that blocking monster.

if youāre a solo player, number 2 does not apply, however, number 1 still exist. out of hundred mobs out there, there are less than 10 which blocks. are you willing to spend 250 points of stat point for a non-guaranteed block penetration? or spent them wisely on other stat??
P.S, someone already mentioned having 500 Block pen, and hogmas at ET still blocks him, just less likely. around 2/10.
