I don’t know what the factors are, but swapping can be really smooth at times and then other times it will decide to freeze your screen for half a second before changing. Lately it has been really smooth for me though.
It would be nice if they added an auto swap with the upcoming swordsman changes

That is a very solid and fun build. I wonder if it is better to go with dragoon (adding 30% more boss dmg) or shinobi (kunai takes advantage of spear lunge) than going fencer at c7. Solid regardless.
dragoon is actually better, the two hexens he did destroyed half of harpeia’s hp, but that’s with a lot of attribute upgrades
difference is that dragoon is finestra crit based, while fencer focuses on evasion and coquille
They are definitely a better choice atm.
C1 Fencer is actually pretty solid by itself though. I made this in preparation for Matador, so I could get some rapier skills/attributes before it arrived.

There is no real info about them other than their costumes. I know they use swords similar to rapiers and unless IMC plans on adding a new weapon, their skills would most likely fall under rapier.
Or I could be completely wrong and they are useable with something else.

True, in case Matador sucks, you still can go fencer 2 for boosted hexen dropper damage. That’d be pretty op to do x2 burst of hexen dropper.
Mind I ask what’s your attribute lvl on hexen atm?
I can’t wait either, the costume alone was enough to get me interested. If it has synergy with Fencer that would be a plus.
If not, yea, Fencer 2 would be a great back up. More burst and Composee for DPS when everything else is on CD.

One pierce skill, so for this case, it’s only best used with sept etoiles unless we get something better at rank 8
Ah, damn I knew it was too good if it’s based on duration. I just wondered cuz most people I’ve watched do prep>coquille>sept which confused me.
prep first to set it on cooldown fast, since it has slightly longer cd than sept

And why barb over high (with ktos patch) ?
You can go 1:1:3 Str:Con:Dex. Barb seems to have better AOE skills and lots of Stun. Great for burst DPS
You can play Barb/High with preference, both got buffed in kTOS, as for which is better I don’t really know yet.
Well I did it. My Pel 3 Squire 1 is now a Fencer. So nice to be able to do damage again lol. May have gimped myself but I am loving it so far. 1 str, 1 con, 2 dex.
