You could use that until fencer 2. i think fencer c3 epee stance cancels out shield effects. not sure if it includes gem effects on shield though.

Damage out is almost the same(less than 1k damage difference). In fact you will lose 15% damage increase in the end of formula to get a bit of damage being multiplied 2 or 3 times.
PS: here was compared only green gems
@pao.gonzales epee only take off phy def from shield, all other stats on shield remains.

For now I’m only taking end game gear for him.
I don’t know if I will play with him so far, because of cousty attributes(like you said) and seems murmillo, peltasta and rodelero all their amplifiers belongs to the same tier. If it was confirmed, murmillo will be kinda meh.

Sorry i ask so many questions here, im a n00b when it comes to fencer. I understand that fencers wear plate armors now for rank7 and above? because i was wondering whether to buy grynas Armors and superior krovos greaves. or go 3 plate set and go soul chaser gauntlet for gloves. any tips?
Don’t waste time with soul chaser. It will give you only some negligible critical attack.
If you want to go for full plate, on gloves I suggest demonas or oghma because it will give you con + hp and comes with 2 slots.
I see. But the soul chaser has 2 slots too though. anyway, is it better to go plate boots or get a leather and over upgrade it?
Proxied give us a feedback saying even 1,8k evasion isn’t enough to effectively dodge in new maps. So for new content I would use something to help with magic damage(superior korvos ou shade greaves).
In case of soul chaser gauntlets, you want ir for the 45 critical attack?

yeah. i used to think 43 crit attack would help a lot. but then imc updated the gems. so its probably irrelevant now XD

One who can make a good use of soul chaser is 2H sword builds with a circle in highlander.
He doesn’t mean 1.8k dodge isn’t enough. He means that it’s more than enough and no reason to pursue further. I personally have 1.4k dodge with full plate + guardian and I dodge like a cap 80-85% on r8 mobs (don’t know the cap %). Though like we know, some bosses attacks can’t be dodged so rip.
As for gloves, I’m still team vubbe fighters lol.

I remember he said 1,1k was enough in r7. In r8 I remember he said still get hit alot even with 1,8k eva. I will check because I hate giving bad advices for our community.

Don’t know if he is talking about bosses or mobs. Bosses I know magic attacks you can’t dodge anymore.
