Ya if I had an time machine for ToS the first thing I would do is go back and grab every lizard amber in existence when they were 100-150k on average and upents popped up more then reality cooking shows. The fencer bandwagon frenzy has been by far the most insane in terms of price spiking.
I’m working on an fencer a lil a day atm just to see what all the fuss is about, heres an image of 1 my toons so you have an idea of my financial status and I wont even attempt to get ambers atm, ill slum it up with an catacombs/duelist for a lil bit;
4/4 Manahas Armor, usual accs, 315 weapon etc etc

You can continue to farm your ambers. Forget bots or anyone on the map, RNG is RNG. Doppels are great for this task.
Any fencer 330 here thats completely full dex? How much crit rate can you reach? with out green gems and gear? can we go with out any green gems or not?
lvl 325 here with 718 crit rate w/ just a lvl 7 green gem off-hand. You can probably hit 680 crit rate once you complete all your crit rate collections at lvl 330 even w/o any green gems.
Do you crit 100% of the time? can you go with out the green gem XD i was hoping to use red gem for off hand but not sure…might be better with green?
Not 100%. It’s like 90-91%. It’s overkill with monstrance and/or quicken but not really worried about min-maxing dmg for now. I’m already hitting 42.7k composse on leather and I don’t want to extract my gem for just another 2k crit dmg increase.
Edit: I’m only using 3 ellaganos.

He got 599 dex, so 599 crit rate.
I don’t know if collections can net you more 80 crit rate like kradenmike4 said(I don’t care with collections yet.)
It doesn’t but I know he has 680 ish crit rate right now with full dex, full ella, and no green gem. You also forgot x 2 sissel bracelets.

For our friend need some numbers:
680 crit rate = 86,54% critical chance in a 0 crit resist target.
Well tbh, I’m thinking of getting 2 gland bands again for party play when there’s a chrono’s quicken in the mix so I can hit more mobs while having cap crit rate.
Giving up 9% critical chance is something to think about.
That way you will need to compensate it with more green gems.
And is it better to use leather?..i feel like the evasion boost from leather mastery feels…really useless compare to plate…cause of how little evasion it gives…
In r8 maps is really useless. Better go for plate.

As someone who currently has 40 points invested into CON and the rest into DEX, do you guys think it would be worth it to reset out the con and put it all into dex? Or will I actually end up needing the con come r8 content?
I think you should aim for 50~100 Con invested depending. You shouldn’t rely on evasion to protect you since its pretty pathetic at r8. Best way to go is get Plate armor. So even if you do decide to go main dex at least get that much. You should probably aim to get Red gems into your gear for extra hp as well.
Oh hey guys, going 3 or 4 pieces of playe still give you the same amount of bonus hp with the mastery? I would like to wear top btm and shoes virtov plate and virtov leather glove. Is this okay?
