Yes, Gung Ho is physical weapon damage, so it’ll scale with crits, epee guard, attributes of skills themselves, etc.

The only thing I can really consider are buff limits. You may be just fine using Gung Ho and not bothering with Concentrate if its pushing other buffs out of the way. The only other thing is that Concentrate can be used with Guardian, unlike Gung Ho.

Otherwise, I think in the grand scheme of things, due to skills dealing thousands of base damage, the difference between the two probably isn’t so large either way.

If buff limits are an issue, probably just stick to Gung Ho. If you want more damage while using Guardian, then Concentrate will help you there.

Gung ho nets you at least 594 damage with epee with 0 str. Pretty much the same as concentrate with 400 str.

If you’re taking SW3, buff limits won’t be an issue, just get a Diano Scroll/Krivis slave.

And well, you’re right, considering base skill damage as making those buffs negligible. But you might better get the good ones anyway.

Well, Gung Ho grants 100 Weapon Damage when maxed, with Attributes from skills making this 200, Pierce Weakness to leathers to 300. If Shieldless, another 15%, so 345 damage and 50% from crits to 522.5 (i’m not sure how Epee Guard works, if its another multiplier on top, or criticals get an increased modifier that’s not 1.5). Note though, I"m only suggesting Level 3 Gung Ho (With Attribute) with Level 15 Concentrate. This means I’m still getting 64 Weapon Attack, losing only 36 by not leveling Gung Ho to 15.

This is pretty much all assuming you’re using Dagger and not Shield, you’re critting 100% of the time (for Crit/Epee Bonus to be in) and an enemy is Leather Armored… So yes, when the stars align, this will add up.

I’m sure there are times where you’ll want to switch to Shield for more Defense (tanking, what have you), which you’ll be using Guardian for anyway. At least then you do have Concentrate to fall on if you want to add more damage in this case.

Whats the point in use concentrate in a mob with 200k+ hp?
I’m sure 500 dmg(if you’re almost full STR making your fencer almost useless) will not help you at all.

Look, I got 3 headgears with AoE attack ratio, and many guys wants headgears with critical attack + physical attack. So with my headgears, I can go ahead with no regrets + gung ho. Gung ho scales full like PA and concentrate is a stat based most on STR and less in DEX.

My opnion: If you want a bit more flat damage, is better take sacrament which lasts longer and you don’t need to bother casting concentrate every minute making you lose dps.

Well if we are to invest that much in attributes yes I guess we can but what worries me right now is the lack of new rapiers. Problem is Venier, since it gives +2 in skill, new Rapiers will be having trouble matching the benefits it gives. I’m not gonna waste any more blessed stones transcending my Venier. I have my Venier at +10 with level 1 trans and it gives measly damage. :joy:

It is confirmed that we can use Epee while equipped with Venier then swap to another Rapier right? Epee buff will still remain? Man it’s like Hoplite 2.0 and I don’t want to go through weapon swapping. lol.

199k is the hard cap now.

Fencer in KTOS hits 199k every hit almost in everything :V (with serpentine)

As for buff slots ( daino scrolls can actual exceed visual buff slot. So it’s safe to say with daino +11 you can just on everything without a care lol)

Epee is verified as a snapshot buff. if you swap out the buff effect and duration stays. Unlike QS… >_>

I’ll be trying with this Dagger. Put 7* green gem on it, 1 7* green gem and 7* red gem on Rapier. I’m thinking this kind of evens out Lionhead dagger (somehow, though I’d be losing some Dex and Evasion), but instead of 300+ Fire atk, I’m getting 300+ phys attack from red gem, which I’d rather have.

If r9 monsters pdef spikes up like with the current r8 monsters mdef then sure red>green but, it’ll still be Crit>PA to have consistent Epee damage via crits for Fencers right now. Unless a new rapier/dagger can give 200+crit by that time.

That comes into mind. Don’t new daggers give like 40 and up crits hmm… (oh solmkiki does give 100 holy.)

Emengard gives you 37 crit rate. Solmiki gives you 100 crit rate.

Both Solmiki Rapier(Venier2.0) and Dagger is like the holy grail for us right now, practically unatainable, unless we have a dedicated ET team, heck the floor that provides the drops needed to make it isn’t even available yet.

even with new items implemented those two have good bonuses and slots~~~~
