I used to think that way, but it is so much easier with 315 purple bow. The gap between khatis and 315 2h bow is quite large. I was pretty stringy of using the proctonium lol. Thinking of skipping 315 purple then later to realized how wrong I was. It is your choice though, I just find it more efficient killing stuff faster with 315 purple bow. But again I have 8 chars with proc / rolling cubes.
I don’t think you are wrong/right, but at the same time it’s like seeing people running saalus with Cafrisun set lol… you are 315+ you shouldn’t be using Khatis. It isn’t that good of a bow to begin with anyway 
I’m rank #1 for most kill: Yellow Caro with 0 drops, that should tell you something. It will be a long hard road for Asta Bow 
why not get the purple bow? I’m sure you can farm 30m and buy a practonium way faster than farming orange mats.
Don’t bother applying logic to those players, their entire play model is to be carried and never upgrade anything b/c eventually everything is replaced by a new BiS piece of equipment.
That’s BS that they nerfed the 145, the 290 was aggravating to solo, many of the mobs were a joke to handle but they had so much hp it just wasn’t efficient time wise and then there were the mages, that’s possible artilonium you have to leave on the board, or deal with fully broken gear after you clear them regardless how OP your toys are.
(g2g was just checking in to see if magical flying ponies that shi* practonium were added to the tp shop yet, guess that’s still a few patches away)
I see, thanks of resasonable answer, ya it’s sad to see people doing saulus with cafrisun, but i have kinda nice gear/attributes already, i wouldn’t put 3transcend or more in any bow now, i prefer do less dmg and save for the astra, i’ll spent like 35m putting a gorithos +15 with briquet/awaken/gems and this will be cheaper than +10auwfgole with 0 transcend and with the same dmg and i save a pract, the thing is, i dun have practonium yet, and i just have 1 char high lvl, 1200max atq bow and 90%attribute in magic arrow with 8glassmole 10, 2 sissel, a good gear can’t farm yellows? i know it will be more than a month to farm the astra if i dun find a magnus opus way or selling my body way or smtg, thanks for the answer again, and good luck, i’m following your build, 1 last question for tonight:

240 is the true seasoned balance between swiftness and barrier now.
330k silver, and decent chance of getting virtov plans to sell. With leather pieces selling for 1-2mil, and plate top and bottom selling for 6-8mil each. Don’t ask me why its that high, i’m not the one buying, just the one selling. And I get at least a plate top or bottom a week
I’ve giving up on Astra Bow for now because I keep getting sniped by people 500-600DPK at 500k hp isn’t fun at all. I’m currently leveling a Fencer.
I like to leave my Bodkin at lv 1. It is quite glitchy. I don’t find myself doing more damage/tick when a boss has bodkin debuff. The only use Bodkin has atm is popping bosses’s shield like Blut. I like Barbed <3 It’s really good for those pesky leather/cloth mobs.
Not with koreans 200% and up rofl.

for me, what kills me is that those caros and stuff is whatever, i don’t care.
but for the other set of mats, its magic mobs, and its just argh, even if i can get all these one set of mats, the other set I won’t be able to do efficenetly just because of how much their magic hurts, and can’t even attempt to control the killing well, because those maps they’re on is full of ambush drops.
for caro, you rarely get 4-5 drop on top of you while your finishing off 2-3, but on the magic mob maps, it happens all the time

but then again swordies are a little different than archers.

you can get higher than that with a +5 auwfgole bow stage 2 transcended. (transcendence is easy when you get multiple chars above lvl 240, don’t even need to buy them.)
my scout has a stage 2 transcended +15 superior wreech bow (and i spend only 15m max) but that’s because its a dungeon slave and i will probably never do any r8 stuff with it, but assuming you play fletcher and wanna do r8 stuff, waiting for astra bow is going to take you a long time of misery
you will also need a full party to farm these items
or to save like 100m silver to buy it from someone willing to sell.
also, orange weapons are going to be even more expensive to enhance.
I kindly doubt you actually played against r8 mobs.
Is Homing Arrow that good? I have 5 leftover points at the end of rank 8, and was planning to save it for rank 9. I only have Triple Arrow and Arrow Sprinkle to work with so far.
heres homing arrow with circling, makes for the most op aoe nuke archer has outside of being an SR, on a fletcher though without falc1 its meh, skip it if you wish for now
i think it would have been faster to just keep spamming split shot instead of waiting for the circling, then charge up
I use Multishot with quick charge over Homing arrow. That charging time kills dps.
Its used in that situation to refill mana, its always faster to just spam split but when you kill those large packs with 1 or 2 buttons and your cards are setup properly its an instant fill, that’s off topic though just showing the main use for homing arrow, outside of that combo its pretty meh, kinda like the entire mergen class frankly, when arrow sprinkle is the main draw to the entire rank 8 class its pretty sad.
It is quite fun to see some people still keep hope of farming astra While many ppl on my server (including me) have given up making astra already. Better focus on aufgowle with stage 8-10. Not sure how rage ppl will be if Rank 9 purple bow will be much more OP than astra LOL
Btw, I am considering A2 R2 Fletcher 3 over my current A1 R3. is multishot lv10+lv10 steady aim can cover the lv15 steady aim+spiral arrow?
I think the question here is more on whether swift step attribute on A2 worth the lose on spiral and 5% steady aim, which in my opinion worth it. I am a A1-R3-Fl3 myself, planning to go A2-R2-Fl3 with reset.
