if damage caps are always in place will there come a time when multishot will be useful again since it has a harder time hitting the damage cap per hitā¦ so it will scale better when you constantly hit the damage cap? ~cough~ excuse me

Right now Iām aiming for 2 pieces leather lolo for 46 crit rate bonus. maybe virtov plate top and bot
loloplate bottom is better than virtov plate bottom

+ 1 AoE ratio which is pretty good for Mergen
+ 28 crit rate (2 set bonus - 18 crit rate)
- 12 Ice property attack (meh)
- 19 Physical Attack (meh)
Boots
+45 Evasion
+31 Crit. Resistance (meh)
+3 Max Stamina (meh)
-64 Crit. Attack (prob the biggest thing Iām going miss :[)
Not to mention it scales better with enchantment 
With Swift Step:
28*.25 = 35 crit rate
45*.15 = 51.75 evasion
I think itās a good upgrade.
Iām actually enjoying cloth more at this point, especially with rank 8 content, we only die to 2 things, either magic damage or 15k spiral arrows coming at us from 3 different directions, iām looking at you tevhrin caves.
That was the main reason I sold that entire Manahas Set aswell, ive tried virtov leather, plate, mixtures of both, manahas and the other misc junk like shade dancer etc. My current setup has been the most comfortable for me thus far, the extra sp is nice aswell b/c I can run sp cards whereas you are locked into glass moles so 10% of 3+k coming back nonstop is op, you can see the hp/sp in this screengrab, no hp on hair or boots, just the body/leg gems;
errā¦ i never have problem with accuracy in PVE. I agree with your point at crit rate and evasion though. Btw, will your plate/leather mastery still has bonus effect if you equip 2 plate and 2 leather?
Since you go full DEX already, have you calculated your actual crit chance right now? against vs 0 crit resist mob and vs highest crit resist mob (130 i think)
+1 AOE ratio doesnt give significant change. it needs at least total +3 AOE to see the difference for me (vubbe gloves+manamana)

All the armor attribute need at least 3 pieces for it to work.
