[Guide] Mage Builds General Discussion šŸ’„

You can say Wiz3>Elem3>Warlock able to deal 50% more damage, Elem3 to be honest without Wiz3 is quite sux, decent damage but difficult to cast in very mobby environment. But you have Frost Pillar to control so it still quite ok

But I think if you are going Cryo3, better to pick Psycho3 because they synergy very well. The Gravity Pole or Physic Pressure is able to deal better burst damage than Wiz3>Elem3.

Does anyone know about Thaumaturge buffs late game? Numbers seem pretty neat but the guide tell it`s useless late game. Is Chrone the only way to play as a buff suport in this game?

It is still very good up to 280. How late are we talking about? Because I can see it fall off a bit later on. Still very nice bonus, thou. Chrono is just good at any level.

280 late

Do you know if Thauma sup will be left out to secure a spot for Chrono in parties?

Generally, if people have to choose they would pick chrono.

What’s up currently my build got 4 extra points and I have been thinking what to use them on

What do you guys think of:

like, would the Stone curse work on players? (probably) would it work on bosses? does Prominence have a lot of damage at the long run, would it’s randomness be effective on mobs or in pvp? is it worth it to level the Rain for AOE 10% movement speed? Or should I just increase the Electrocute to decrease it’s casting time

Thanks in Advance

Hey guys just a question

did they remove Minotaur card from the boss quest before you meet Paladin Master? I did not see it drop when I killed it

I think it may have been moved to a later fight with another Minotaur. And in any case, the Minotaur was always an optional boss in the Crystal Caves B1.

In any case, to everyone else, I’m a bloody scrub when it comes to Wizards and Archers, so I wanted to see how people responded to a build like this:

I’m unsure about Rank 7, but I think I like this synergy.

Crystal caves B1? The area after the main quest fight? Or just the first area right after miner’s village

In the best way I can say it, there’s a fork in the Mines B1. One way heads down and to fix the 2nd purifier. One way heads up to fix the 3rd purifier. but the way that keeps going right will guide you to it. You trigger the fight by clicking on the Red Crystals.

Oh so theres a boss in both B1 and B2 huh, never knew

electrocute is a great spell and is more worth maxing over freezing sphere or meteor… it bounces 9 times.

Yeah I agree I did see this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XYPhtH0m4vI

it hits around 4 times (same target)? but the delay in between the casting and it actually hitting kind of pushed me away form maxing it. I personally would rather have some evasion aspect here and there. ā€œThough a lot of combos works with electrocuteā€

You can jump after finishing casting it to prevent the animation.
Electrocute seems to hit more as you level it up. Some one else should confirm it but I think it hits up to 9 times and bounces to 9 targets at lv 14.

Looking at your build. I would take out points from Freezing Sphere and put it on Electrocute. Lv 1 Sphere Lv 1 Rain Lv 1 Prominence Lv 14 Electrocute and rest to meteor seems reasonable for me

Welp I guess if i’ts 9 hits there would be no comparison

Electrocute: 609 x 9 = 5.481k + 50%*2(?) and 35% (Rain) [15-16 points]

Freezing Sphere: 943 x 5 = 2.829k [10 points]

If you have wiz 2, then get wiz 3. Either linker 1 or feather foot could be cut, though id suggest cutting link1

Any thoughts on going

Wiz>Cryo>Kino>Kino>(Sorc or Link)>Necro>Necro

Or is the whole build bad

I was thinking of going with

Wiz > Cryo c2 > Elem c3 > Warlock coz i like the aspect of freezing and electrocute combo… any opinions? Or a better combo that would work with cryo n elementalist? Thanka

could you tell me how does stat distribution works? i know that it is 3int:1con for wizz, but what does this means? do i need 3 times more int than con? somebody explain plz

After investing 3 points into INT you put 1 point towards CON on next level. Rinse and repeat.
