I would take c2 archer because mutishot 10/10 and knee shot 5/5 and c2 ranger to put barriage 10/10 and steady aim 10/10.
I do not see c3 archer or c3 ranger a good thing to do. Multi shot 15/15 would take a lot of time to charge it lv max and the c3 ranger skills are not that good.
Right, Id drop Oblique Shot lvls. I never got it past lvl 1. Most complaints some Archers have is about SP issues, something I rarely had during iCBT2, cuz for some reason they love to spam it (which is ok, if it suits their play style). The dmg may look nice, but the SP consumption is not worth, IMO.
Again, I should stress thats what worked for me, in other words, playing w/o Oblique Shot as main source of DPS.
@Sasuke I would guess youāre trying to create a PvE archer. Iāll try to help a bit with what Iāve noticed and I hope it helps you a bit but donāt follow what I say as the only truth lol.
From what Iāve done on iCBT 2 but on a Sapper C2 -> Wugushi C2 focusing on Crossbow (Spiked Crossbow [awakened]) with Venom (Dagger/Sub-weapon) for elemental and DoT/multi-hit skills.
In my newbie opinion I wouldnāt focus on DEX for PvE as you already have enough Critical Rate (Swift Step bonus) and you get enough critical hits later. I think that if you have about 500-600 evasion itās fine for most of the Lv.<200 maps and most field bosses but dunno if they are enough for Lv.>200.
Iām doing this again but trying to put more points into DEX until my Critical Rate gets better. My damage isnāt good because Iām poor with lower level equipment and Iām focusing more on leveling and exploring than making money because I donāt have too much time to play and there are those daily maintenance in my free time and I need to keep up with my friends. >.>
The stats are giving the same feeling they did on the iCBT 2. My evasion is quite fine with 4 pieces of leather armor and I have a good damage output and nice critical hits. Iām also curretly leveling some Green Gems to increase my Critical Rate on 120-170 weapons. For me Quarrel Shooterās Caltrop aggro trick plays a nice role on luring aggressive monsters so I can kill more of them with my Sapper C1 traps and getting ~800 damage (sometimes) x 5 on Critical Hits with Caltrops is fine for someone using Lv.15 equipment on Lv.50+, lol.
I would also recommend that you save some skill points for the Archer C1 or C2 to put they on Oblique Shot later as itās expensive (SP-wise and silver-wise if youāre trying to keep up your level with people that play all the day and you just have a few hours of rushing during the weekdays >.>).
That being said I really prefer putting more points into STR than DEX.
On Ranger C1 I wouldnāt use Critical Shot because youāll have enought Critical Rate later. Unless you plan to spam it just like Oblique Shot but hitting only one monster instead of two and wasting more SP, lol. But I donāt really know Ranger builds as I didnāt played too much time with one.
I also canāt say too much about your Rank 5-7. But Iāve heard from friends that Ranger C3 is fine because Bounce Shot and (mainly) Spiral Arrowās damage. They are like āRanger is only good at C3ā. On iCBT 2 a friend would one-hit me all the times until I tried a Full DEX test to Dodge it, lol. But as I said, I really donāt know.
Itās true. You donāt need Oblique Shot. But on iCBT 2 on Lv.>170 the damage increased for about 400 (on critical hits) after resetting Oblique Shot to Lv.5 instead of Lv.1 so itās fine for me on higher levels. I donāt use any points on Swift Step because I wonāt get Archer C2 so the 4 skill points would be wasted if I donāt use them on Oblique Shot, lol.
About Heavy Shot it can be useful at Lv.1 while playing in a party (mostly in dungeons) so you can push monsters into other playersā traps and magic. I do this with Stone Shot which can stun monsters so they stop moving while in the fire ground, lol.
Again, I hope my opinion helps somehow but I can be wrong or my play style might be different from yours.
Well, if ure the grinder/patient type, Kneeling Shot may be useful, but I didnt have a practical use for it (lol). Even so, u gotta spend those points somewhere. xD
I donāt really like Kneeling Shot too but they say it scales well if you focus on DEX and it increases your attack speed and range.
@Sasuke
I donāt know if attack speed is working on kOBT but people said that ping affects attack speed and we have at least 300ms. So I donāt think it worth even using Kneeling Shot just for increased range and damage on just Lv.5. If you would get Archer C3 I think it would be fine, but for Archer C2⦠:x
Well. Sorry if my misunderstood or said something wrong. Iām almost sleeping. xD
Iāll assume that āthanā was āthenā and youāre just focusing on Fletcher C3 and there arenāt classes to replace Rank 5-7 in your build.
Again Iāll speak of a class that I didnāt play but saw friends playing. They liked Barbed Arrow damage if you are killing Cloth or Leather enemies so I would level up that a lot (dunno if Lv.15 or less).
Bodkin Point seems like a nice utility to nullify some buffs (if it cancels them but I didnāt test it) so I would put some points into it.
I think your build is fine but it need some tweaks like lowering Kneeling Shot points (or removing it entirely), lowering Critical Shot (or removing it entirely) and trying to add more utilities to your build, like Heavy Shot to push enemies and Bodking Point to remove protective magic (if Iām correct about the way it works). Also, try to think in foreseeing what youāll handle at Lv.100+ and then Lv.140+ and then Lv.170+ and then Lv.200+, at some point focus on DEX will only make difference for your Evasion as Critical Rate depends on the Critical Defense of enemies.
Try to find how Bodkin Point works exactly because it would be fine to remove those increased defense buffs from some bosses. If just the hits of the skill gets increased then I donāt know if it still worth getting :c
