is this the best weapon there is until you get didel grand cross for a QS c3? im currently using a regina crossbow and managed to get a grand cross, but the damage difference is very negligeable. maybe is it because i dont have that much str?(90) how does the additional damage from running shot scales?
Someone may be able to better answer than I, but my understanding is that you have the Grand Cross equipped to use the Running Shot butt, then weapon swap to your latest weapon (in this case, the Regina Crossbow).
Yeah you want to use grand cross to be able to achieve a lvl 7 running shot. Unfortunately casting running shot will base its damage on the weapon you’re using meaning that if your auto attacks for example do 100 dmg and a lvl 7 RS increases it by 280%, that means you get 280 increased damage from running shot and switching to a different weapon will not increase Running Shots damage because that damage is still based off of your grand cross.
But of course its damage can be upgraded in a sense by upgrading your grand cross, mine is +9.

well, a lvl 10 grand cross is basically as strong as regina, and if i slap a lvl 5 crit chance gem into it, it will be a regina crossbow on steroids , lol. from what your saying i get that str is the way to go, since crit wont wont benefit from the low base damage from my weapon.
